(p. 651) nijamu nijamu. [Skt.] n. Nature, స్వభావము. adj. Own, peculiar, native, తనది. Perpetual, eternal, శాశ్వతమైన. నిజపోష్యవర్గుడనైన నేను I who am your own dependant: this is a mere phrase like 'your most obedient servant.' The word నిజ prefixed to names of months, as నిజవైశాఖము denotes the proper month, not the అధికమాసము the intercalary month. నిజలాభతుష్టుడై being satisfied with his own resources. నిజస్థితి nija-sthiti. n. The real fact. నిజస్థుడు nijasthuḍu. n. A just upright man. నిజానుచరుడు nij-ānu-charuḍu. n. A personal attendant. ని౛ము niḍzamu. Truth, reality, సత్యము. Certainity, నిశ్చయము. adj. True, certain. సత్యము. Positive, actual ని౛ముగా niḍzamu-gā. adv. Actually, really, positively, truly. ని౛పరుచు or ని౛ముచేయు to verify, prove, try. ని౛పడు niḍza-paḍu. v. n. To be ascertained, verified, identified. ఇది నాకు ని౛పడినది I ascertained this. ని౛మరి niḍza-ari. n. A truthful man or woman. సత్యశీలుడు, సత్యవతి. 'గజిబిజిచేసి భూకాంతుని యెదుట. నిజమరివలె నెంత నిలువ నాడెదవు.' Sar. D. 586.

(p. 1054) yamuḍu yamuḍu. [Skt.] n. Yama, the ruler of Naraka or hell, and judge of departed souls; 'the genius of death:' also, the guardian of the southern point of the heavens. He is often identified with death, and corresponds with the Grecian Pluto or Minos. దండధరుడు. ఇది యమగండముగానున్నది this is terribly difficult. యమకింకిరులు messengers of death, angels of death. యమధాటి yama-dhāṭi. n. A kind of weapon, ౛ముదారి. యమధారము yama-dhāramu. n. A double e edged sword.

(p. 1265) śvētamu ṣvētamu. [Skt.] adj. White, white coloured, fair. తెల్లని. n. White colour. తెలుపు. Silver. వెండి. శ్వేతకుష్ఠువు ṣvēta-kushṭhuvu. n. White leprosy. తెల్లపొడలకుష్ఠు. శ్వేతగురుత్తు or శ్రేతపత్రము ṣvēta-garuttu. n. A swan, హంస. శ్వేతద్వీపము ṣvēta-dvīpamu. n. The White Island, which cannot be identified. సప్తద్వీపములలో నోకటి. శ్వేతపింగళము ṣvēta-pingaḷamu. n. A lion. సింహము. శ్వేతపింగళ వర్ణము ṣvēta-pingaḷa-varnamu. n. Light tawny colour, the colour of a lion. శుక్లకపిలవర్ణము. శ్వేతవాహనుడు ṣvēta-vāhanuḍu. n. An epithet of Arjuna, అర్జునుడు. (Cf. Leucippus.) శ్వేతాద్రి ṣvēt-ādri. n. The white mountain. i.e., the Himalaya mountains, హిమవత్పర్వతము.
