Desire, wish, fondness, longing. భ్రాంతి, వానికి కొడుకును చూడవలెనని నిండా భ్రమగానున్నది he wishes very much to see his son. adj. Erroneous. తబ్బిబ్బైన. భ్రమపుమాటలు nonsense. భ్రమణము or భ్రమి bhramaṇamu. n. Whirling, turning, going round, wandering. భ్రమపడు bhrama-paḍu. v. n. To err, be mistaken, be deluded. భ్రమపరచు bhrama-paraṭsu. v. a. To mislead, delude. భ్రమప్రమాదము bhrama-pramādamu. n. A blunder, oversight. భ్రమము, భ్రమియు or బ్రమియు bhramayu. v. n. To err, be deceived. To be confused, perplexed. భ్రమరము bhramaramu. n. The large black carpenter bee, తుమ్మెద. The poets compare braids of black hair to clustering bees. A large kind of wasp. భ్రమరకీటన్యాయము like the caterpillars which the wasp places in its nest as food for its grubs; these are supposed to change into wasps; the similitude is used to point out the entire change produced in the mind of a pupil. భ్రమరకము bhramarakamu. n. Hair curled upon the forehead, నొసట చుట్టలుచుట్టలుగా జీరాడే ముంగురులు. A top, బొంగరము. భ్రమరి bhramari. n. A female bee. ఆడుతుమ్మెద. భ్రమరించు bhramarinṭsu. v. n. To circle round, భ్రమరించు, or భ్రమించు or భ్రమియంచు bhraminṭsu. v. n. To turn round, to spin round. To be confused, misled, deluded. M. I. i. 157. భ్రమనుపొందు, తిరుగు.

(p. 946) matakamu matakamu. [Tel.] n. Deception, illusion, delusion. మాయ. 'మనముననా మాయ మతకమంతయును, గనుగొన్న ధన్యుండుగా ననిట్లనియె.' L. iii. 295. మతకరి matak-ari. (మతకము + అరి.) n. A deceitful person, a deluder. మాయలమారి, మాయావి. 'మతకరి చిత్రాంగిమత్సరంబునను, సుతునిపై కపటంబుసుద్ది కల్పించె.' Sar. D. 350.

(p. 976) māya māya. [Skt.] n. Fraud, trick, deceit, delusion, illusion, diplomacy. Conjuring, ఇంద్రజాలవిద్య. Ignorance, ఆవిద్య. Philosophical illusion, the phenomenal-world, unreality of all worldly existence. This is personified in mythology as Lakshmi, the consort of Vishṇu, she being the immediate and active cause of creation. మాయప్రపంచము the delusive world. 'Vanity' in the theological sense: materiality as distinguished from intellectuality. మాయలాడి a deceitful woman. వనితలు మాయావినోదులైనందున as women are deceivers. M. XIII. ii. 189. మాయాస్వరూపము a fictitious form. మాయగొల్లడు a seeming herdsman, i.e., Krishna, who bore the appearance of a rustic. మాయదారిగా unexpectedly, by stealth or trick, cunningly. మాయకాడు. మాయగాడు, మాయదారి or మాయపోతు a deceiver, మాయావి. మాయాదేవి māyādēvi. n. Nature, regarded as a goddess. మాయాదేవి సుతుడు a name of Buddha. మాయానగరము the place called Haridvara. మాయము māyamu. n. Same as మాయ. Disappearance, అదృశ్యము. adj. Vanished, disappeared. మాయమగు to vanish. ఉంగరము మాయమైపోయినది the ring disappeared. వారు మాయమైపోయిరి they vanished. ఆ పాము మాయమైపోయినది the snake disappeared. ఇది యేమిమాయము this is a strange trick. మాయలాడు māyal-āḍu. n.
