(p. 314) koṇṭe konṭe. [Tel.] adj. Naughty, indecent, childish, puerile, silly, light, idle, mischievous, tormenting, impertinent, teasing. కొంటె konṭe. n. A naughty person. పలుగాకి, తుంటరి. కొంటెబొమ్మలు lewd sculptures. కొంటెతనము konṭe-tanamu. n. Indecency, lewdness; pranks, lasciviousness. కొంటెపాడికట్ట konṭe-pāḍi-kaṭṭa. n. A lewd fellow.

(p. 355) gaddari gaddari. [Tel.] adj. Impertinent, pert గడువైన, తుంటైన. 'గద్దరికొమ్ములగుజ్జు.' (G. VIII. 151.) a broad horned beast. గద్దరికాడు gaddari-kāḍu. n. An impertinent man, an insolent man. గడసువాడు. గద్దరించు gaddar-inṭsu. v. a. To shudder, tingle all over, be agitated or frightened. గద్దరితనము gaddari-tanamu. n. Boldness. గడుసుతనము, తుంటరితనము.

(p. 669) nīlugu , నీల్గు, ఈలుగు or ఈల్గు nīlugu. [Tel.] v. n. To stretch, strut, stretch oneself. ఒళ్లువిరుచుకొను. To die, చచ్చు. To be audacious or impertinent. నీవు తెగనీల్గుచున్నావు you are very presumptuous. నీలుగుబోతు తనము or నీలుగు nīlugu-bōtu-tanamu. n. Audacity, impudence.

(p. 795) pēraṇṭamu , పేరంట్రము or పేరటము pēranṭamu. [Tel.] n. Gossiping. The attendance of married women at each other's houses on any domestic festival, such as a wedding. పిలువని పేరంటము attending a feast without being invited, shameless impertinence. పేరంటాలికూర pēranṭ-āli-kūra. n. A herb called Corchorus clitorea. (Heyne.) పేరంటాలు or పేరటాలు pēranṭ-ālu. n. A married woman, the mistress of a house. A lucky woman, i.e., a woman whose husband is alive. పుణ్యుస్త్రీ, పునిస్త్రీ. పేరటము pēraṭamu. n. Inviting to a wedding. పెండ్లికి పిలవడము. 'పెండ్లినృపాలు నింటనని పేరటముల్ ప్రియమొప్పజెప్పనిం, డ్లిండ్లకు శోభనాక్షతలు హేమపుపాత్రలగొంచు.' KP. vii. 62.

(p. 938) mandemēlamu mande-mēlamu. [Tel.] n. Over-familiarity leading to insolence, meddling, impertinence. మించినచనువు. అధిక స్నేహము. అధిక ప్రసంగము. Disregard, carelessness, ఉపేక్ష. 'వ సితచ్ఛత్రచామరశంఖకిరీట విచిత్ర శయ్యాసౌధ సింహాసనంబులు కైకొనుట మనమందె మేలంబునంగాదె.' B. X. ii. 666. 'చిన్ననాటిది మన చెలిమినూహించి, మన్నింపవలసెనీ మందెమేలంబు.' Sārang. D. ii. 238.

(p. 1034) moṇḍi moḍi. [Tel.] adj. Maimed, crippled, defective, imperfect. చేతులు కాళ్లు తెగిన, అంగహీనమైన. Bare; lopped. Blunt. blunted, మొక్కపోయిన. Stubborn, obstinate, perverse, pertinacious, impertinent, incorrigible, unmanageable, ungovernable, refractory, unruly, మూర్ఖమైన. మొండిమాటలు stubborn or rude language. మొండిపిల్లకాయ an obstinate or refractory boy. మొండిగోడలు bare walls. మొండిగంటము a blunt stylus. మొండి చెయి a maimed hand. మొండిచేతులు bare hands, i.e., hands without any ornament. మొండితోక a docked tail. మొండిమెడ a bare neck, i.e., without any necklace. వానిది మొండిప్రాణము he is tenacious of life. మొండికట్టె or మొండరి monḍi-katṭe. n. A stubborn wretch. మూర్ఖుడు. మొండిచేయి, మొండాడు or మొండాటలాడు monḍi-chēyu. v. n. To be unruly; to oppose. ఆ గుర్రము మొండిచేస్తున్నది the horse is stubborn. మొండితనము monḍi-tanamu. n. Stubbornness, obstinacy. మూర్ఖత్వము. మొండిపారిన monḍi-pārina. adj. Callous. కాయకాచిన. మొండిపురుగు monḍi-purugu. n. The 'stumpy' snake, or Amphisbœna, which looks as if the tail was lopped off. మొండు Another form of మొండి. మొండెము or మొండియము monḍemu. n. A stump. The trunk of a body after the head is lopped off. శిరస్సులేని శరీరము, కజంధము. A fragment, a limb lopped off, a separated member, ఖండము. మొండెపుగాము monḍepu-gāmu. n. An epithet of Rāhu. రాహువు.
