(p. 64) apātramu a-pātramu. [Skt.] adj. Unworthy, undeserving, unfit. తగని, అయోగ్యమైన, అర్హముకాని. అపాత్రుడు n. He who is unworthy or undeserving. అయోగ్యుడు, అనర్హుడు. నేను ఆయన దయకు అపాత్రుడనైనాను I forfeited his favour. I incurred his displeasure.

(p. 120) āraḍi āraḍi. [Tel.] n. Scandal, disgrace, censure. నింద. ఆరడి adj. Vain, useless. వ్యర్థము. ఆరడిపడు āraḍi-paḍu. v. n. To incur censure, to be blamed. నిందింపబడు. ఆరడిపెట్టు āraḍi-peṭṭu. v. a. To scorn, slight, To grieve, afflict. ఆరడిపోవు āraḍi-pōvu. v. n. To be the sport of scandal, to be slandered. (p. 232) kaṭṭukonu kaṭṭu-konu. [Tel.] v. a. 1. To build, to bind, to wear or put on. దోవతి కట్టుకొన్నాడు he put on his cloth. See కట్టు. 2. To incur (blame or sin) ఇంత పాపము కట్టుకోవలసినదా shall we incur so great a sin? పుణ్యము కట్టుకొను to acquire merit. 3. To marry. దాన్ని కట్టుకొన్నాడు he married her. 4. To conquer. To appropriate, take possession of. వారి దేశమునంతా తాను కట్టుకొన్నాడు he conquered all their territories. చేతులు కట్టుకొనుట to fold the hands respectfully. అప్పులు కట్టుకొన్నాడు he took the debts upon him. నూరుకట్టుకొను to refrain from eating.

(p. 293) kuḍucu kuḍuṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To eat. To suck. To suffer or incur (punishment.) To gain. అనుభవించు, త్రాగు, భుజించు. కుడుపు kuḍupu. v. a. To feed. To suckle. కుడువజేయు. ఇది నీకు దేవుడు కట్టి కుడుపును God will reward you with evil for this evil. చన్నుగుడ్ఫినన్ on giving the child the breast. కుడుపు n. Food, eating. భోజనము. Enjoyment అనుభవము. Towards, to. అతణ్ని గురించి పలికినది she spoke of him. దేవుణ్ని గురించి ప్రార్థించియున్నాను I have prayed to God. గురించిన gurinchina. adj. Concerning, connected with, regarding. For, on account of. అందును గురించిన తగులుబడి the expense incurred for this. అతణ్నిగురించిన జాబు a letter regarding him. గురించు gurinṭsu. (గురి+ఉంటు.) v. t.
