(p. 652) nityamu nityamu. [Skt.] adv. Always, continually, constantly. ఎల్లప్పుడు. adj. Constant, perpetual, permanent. Everlasting, eternal, universal, omnipresent. Regular, fixed, natural, invariable, usual, daily, ordinary, unchanging. Percunial, flowering all through the year, ఎడతెగని. నిత్యమల్లిచెట్టు or నిత్తెమల్లె a species of jasmine. నిత్యహోమము a daily sacrifice, as distinguished from నైమిత్తికము an occasional one. నిత్యకర్మము daily rites. నిత్యుడు nityuḍu. n. The everlasting one, i.e., God.

Certainty. The inevitable result of an act. Taking pains నిశ్చయబుద్ధి, ప్రతిజ్ఞ, ఏర్పాటు, కట్టు. నియమముగా fixedly, statedly. నియమించు niyaminṭsu. v. a. To appoint, direct, order, ఆజ్ఞాపించు. నియమించుకొను niya-minṭsu-konu. v. a. To agree on, contract for, engage for, determine, decree, undertake, నియమితము niyamitamu. adj. Commanded, ordered, నియమింపబడిన. నియామకము niyāmakamu. n. Certainity, an arrangement. నియామకుడు niyāma-kuḍu. n. A director, a pilot or steers-man. నియమించేవాడు.

(p. 1092) l la. [Tel.] letter L (ళ) is the same letter with a harsher sound. These two are separate and one cannot always be used for the other. The harsh sound has been introduced into some Sanskrit words. Thus, the nouns కల. కలేబరము, are in Telugu invariably written కళ, కళేబరము. Authority or custom is the only rule, and it never varies. వేళ time. వేల gen. plu. of వేయి a thousand.
