(p. 402) ghē .. ఘేయనునాదము Huzza, a shout of joy. ఘేయని జయపెట్టు to utter joyful huzzas. 'ఎంతంతజనులు ఘేయనిజయపెట్ట.' BD. v. 1420.

(p. 723) parvamu parvamu. [Skt.] n. A knot, a joint in a cane or body. గణుపు. A feast or annual festival at a certain division of the year. A name given to certain days in the lunar month, as the full and change of the moon, and the 8th and 14th of each half month, పండుగ. పంచపర్వములు the five holidays in a month, i.e., అష్టమి, చతుర్దశి, కునూవు, పూర్ణిమ, రవిసంక్రాంతి. పంచపర్వోత్సవము is a feast celebrated in one of these holidays. A sub-division of a book. The Mahābhārata is divided into eighteen (Purvamulu) books. నెత్రపర్వము a joyful sight, a feast for the eyes. పర్వసంధి parva-sandhi. n. The time that divides a new or full moon and the next day.

(p. 777) puṣpamu pushpamu. [Skt.] n. A flower. పువ్వు. Menses, స్త్రీరజస్సు. పుష్పంధయము pushpandhagamu. n. A bee. తుమ్మెద. పుష్పకము pushpakamu. n. A chariot, a car, or stately conveyance used by Kūbēra or Krishna. కుబేరవిమానము, కృష్ణునితేరులలో నొకటి. పుష్పకేతువు, పుష్పధన్వుడు or పుష్పశరుడు pushpa-ketuva. n. An epithet of Manmadha. పుష్ఫదంతము pushpa-dantamu. n. The name of the elephant that is supposed to support the earth at the North-west corner. పుష్పపాము pushpa-pāmu. n. The nectar of honey of flowers, పూదేనె. పుష్పలావిక pushpa-vantula. n. The 'Luminaries:' i.e., the sun and the moon,. సూర్య చంద్రులు. పుష్పవతి or పుష్పిణి pushpa-cati. n. A menstruous woman. ఋతుమతి, భాండదూమైనస్త్రీ, రజస్వల, ముట్టుది. పుష్పవనము or పుష్పవాటిక pushpa-vanamu. n. A flower garden. పూదోట. పుష్పవర్షము or పుష్పవృష్టి pushpa-varshamu. n. Lit: a shower of flowers, a poetical phrase for the strewing or scattering of flowers on joyful occasions. Colloquially, it means a slight or vernal shower: a mere sprinkling of rain. పుష్పసమయము pushpa-samayamu. n. Spring, the season of flowers. పుష్పించు pushpinṭsu. v. n. To flower, to bloom. పూచు, వికసించు. పుష్పితము pushpilamu. adj. Flowered. పూచిన.

(p. 836) pramōdamu pra-mōdamu. [Skt.] n. Joy, delight ఆనందము. ప్రమోదించు pra-mō-dinṭsu. v. n. To rejoice, be joyful, ఆనందించు.

(p. 1298) sam sam. [Skt.] A particle and prefix implying Union, junction, with, together: as a prefix it corresponds to con, co, com. (p. 1385) harṣamu harshamu. [Skt.] n. Gladness, joy, exultaion. సంతోషము. హర్షకుడు harshakuḍu. n. One who causes joy, one who gives pleasure, సంతోషింపజేయువాడు. హర్షణము harshaṇamu. n. Pleasure, joy, rejoicing. సంతోషించుట. హర్షణుడు harshaṇuḍu. n. One who rejoices or is glad, సంతోషించువాడు. హర్షమాణము harsha-māṇamu. adj. Pleased, happy, cheerful, glad, సంతోషించుచున్న. హర్షి harshi. n. One who is joyful or pleased, సంతోషముగలవాడు. హర్షించు harshinṭsu. v. n. To be glad, rejoice, be pleased with, సంతోషించు. ఆయన ఇంత పనికి హర్షించునా will he be pleased with this? హర్షితము harshitamu. adj. Delighted, glad, cheerful. సంతోషపెట్టబడిన.
