(p. 102) asi asi. [Skt.] n. A sword. ఖడ్గము. adj. Slight. అల్పమైన అనసిగాయము asi-gāyamu. n. A slight or superficial wound, a slight graze or wound. స్వల్పగాయము. అసిధారావ్రతము asī-dhāra-vratamu a vow to stand on the edge of a sword; (figuratively) being engaged in any hopelessly difficult task. అసిధేను or అసిధేనుక or అసిపుత్రి asidhēnu. n. (p. 237) katti katti. [Tel.] n. A knife. A sword. తీసినకత్తితీరు బిత్తలియై నిలిచినది she stood as a drawn sword. A measure of land, which differs in various districts. It is considered to be as much as a man can reap in one day. In the Government accounts a 'cutty' is rated at 40 acres and 14 గుంటలు (q. v.) This phrase, which means a 'sword of land' implies that this quantity of land was assigned to a family which furnished the feudal lord one fighting man. కత్తికట్టేదొర katti-kaṭṭē-dora. An officer, a gentleman who wears a sword. కత్తికాసు katti-kāsu. n. A carpenter's tool for squaring. కత్తిపిట్టి katti-piṭṭa. The Cuckoo called Hierococcyx varius. చిన్న కత్తిపిట్ట The Indian plaintive cuckoo, Cacomantis passcrinus. (F.B.I.) కత్తిపిడిక a basket in which a toddy drawer keeps his knives ఈండ్రవాని కత్తుల బుట్ట. కత్తిపీట katti-pīṭa. n. A large knife standing slantwise in a block of wood upon which vegetables are sliced. కత్తిబళ్లెము katti ballemu. A 'sword spear,' a scythe-like blade mounted as a spear.

(p. 237) kattivāṭu katti-vāṭu. [Tel.] n. A cut with a knife.

To be fixed in నాటు. 'కెంపుచెక్కడంపుసని కీల్కొనుబంగరుపావలెక్కి' Radha. iii. 13. 'కేవల పాపకర్మములగీల్కొనియున్న నిశాటకోటికిన్.' V. P. ii. 304. కీలుకొలుపు or కీలుపరుచు kīlu-kolupu. v. a. To fasten, unite, to lay, put. కీలుగంటు kīlu-ganṭu. n. A knot or crest of hair. వెండ్రుకలదూముడి. కీల్౛డ kīl-zaḍa. n. A woman's plaited tress of hair.

(p. 306) kṛpāṇamu kṛipāṇamu. [Skt.] n. A sword. కత్తి. కృపాణి kṛipāṇi. n. A knife, a pair of shears or scissors. కత్తి, కత్తెర, పట్టాకత్తి.

(p. 332) kaustubhamu kaustubhamu. [Skt.] n. A carbuncle. The breastplate or jewel worn at his breast by the god Vishnu. Metaphorically, gem or masterpiece, or the noblest thing. The 'jewel' or middle ornament in a collar of knighthood. అద్వైతకాస్తుభము the masterpiece of Monism (name of a book.)
