To fail, break down, sink, fall back, fall in debt or arrears. దిగబడు. To lodge, dwell, halt, ప్రయాణమందు దారిలో విడియు. To distil, or drop down, as any secretion. To settle, as sediment or dregs. To abate, cease, go off, become less, diminish, as fatness. To sink, as ink in paper, or water in earth. To penetrate or go in, as a stab. To come forth, as fruit from the bud, as in మామిడికాయలు దిగుచున్నవి. ఒళ్లు దిగిపోయినది he is reduced by sickness. బుడ్డదిగినమనిషి a man with a rupture. దానికి నీళ్లు దిగవు she cannot swallow. మదముదిగిన యేనగు an elephant not in rut. ఆ పనిలో దిగినాడు he went into that business. (p. 1052) yakṣuḍu yakshuḍu. [Skt.] n. A demigod. దేవయోనివిశేషము, కుబేరాదియక్షజాతుడు. Kubēra, కుబేరుడు. యక్షకర్దమము yaksha-kardamamu. n. A perfume made of powdered sandalwood mixed with camphor, agallochum, musk, and saffron in various proportions. పరిమళద్రవ్యములు కలిపినచందనము. యక్షగానము yaksha-gānamu. n. A melody, a chant. Poetry written rather to suit an air than according to the strict rules of prosody. (p. 1087) rēvu rēvu. [Tel.] n. A landing place, port, harbour; a shore, beach or bank; a ford a ferry. నద్యాదులయందు మనుష్యులు దిగుటకు యుక్తమైనచోటు; నదులందుగాని సముద్రతీరమునగాని సరకుల ఎగుమతి దిగుమతిచేయుటకు యుక్తమైనచోటు. A seaport కరషాకపట్టణము. Also, Same as రేగు (చెట్టు.) (q. v.) రేవు or బాకి రేవు a washing green or whitster's yard. ఓడరేవు a harbour or sea-port. బండిరేవు a wharf or common shore. రేవుతప్పినది the ford is not now passable, the water is not fordable. చల్లగడ్డలు తవ్వేవారికిగాని దాని రేవు మరి యెవరికి తెలియబడదు the place that produces this root is known only to those who live by digging for it. రేవుబోయ rēvu-bōya. n. A boatman; a sailor, ఓడ నడపువాడు.
