G. viii. 101. దుంపనాశనము dumpa-nāṣanamu. n. Total ruin, eradication. వానిని దుంపనాశనము చేసినాడు he ruined him root and branch. దుంపబచ్చలి a kind of plant, a species of బచ్చలి (q. v.) (p. 616) drāviḍa drāviḍa. [Tam.] adj. Dravida; a name usually applied to Tamil. ద్రావిడ దేశము the Tamil country. ద్రావిడులు or ద్రావిళ్లు the Tamil people. As a collective term పంచద్రావిడములు the 'Five-fold Dravida' denotes what the English call the South Indian Languages, i.e., Canarese, Tamil, Telugu, Guzerati and Mahratta.
