II. if. 126. కానుపు ఉడిగినది breeding has ceased. ఉడుగక ceaselessly, incessantly, without intermission. ఎగతెగక. ఉడుకువ uḍukuva. [Tel. ఉడుగు+కువ] n. Cessation. Rest. ఊరట, ఉపశమనము. ఉడిగించు uḍiginṭsu. [Tel. causative of ఉడుగు] v. a., To weaken, to lower or starve. To loosen. To turn out, cause to leave, &c., to check, stop, bridle. To remove, do away with. పొగొట్టు.

(p. 174) ūḍu ūḍu. [Tel.] v. n. To part, drop out, slip out, జారు, రాలు. To give way, fail: to be unfastened, loosened, separated. వదులగు. To flee, run away. పారిపోవు. తండ్రి నోట్లో ఊడిపడ్డాడు he is the very image of his father. ఊడగొట్టు to take out, root up. remove. ఊడదీయు to pull out, to take off (skin or clothes), to unloose. ఊడబీకు to root out. ఊడలాగు to pull out, to draw out.

(p. 174) ūḍucu ūḍuṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To sweep. To slacken, loosen, divest, open, sever, separate. ఊడజేయు To wrest, take by force. To transplant. నారునాటు. To root out, to eradicate. ఉడుపు చేయించిన పొలము a field in which rice plants have been set (by transplanting.) తలలూడ్చె he smote off their heads. R. v. 275. ఊడుపు ūḍupu. n. (p. 185) eḍaliñcu or ఎడలుచు eḍalinṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To separate, or unravel. To do away with. To remove, clear, loosen. To drive away వెడలించు, వదిలించు. ఎడలు eḍalu. v. n. To go, depart. వెడలు. To break వికలమగు, విచ్ఛిన్నమగు. To be thrown away విసర్జించు.

(p. 300) kuḷlagiñcu kuḷḷa-ginṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To loosen or dibble (the earth.): to stir (as the fire.)

(p. 308) keluku or కెలకు keluku [Tel.] v. a. To stir up, dig up or loosen earth. To scratch. మాని పోయినపుండ్లు మరలికెలికినట్లు this is merely stirring an old quarrel, opening a healed sore. 'ఇందులకుంబోవందపడు ప్రత్యత్తరంబుల వీనింగెలంకినబుద్ధి క్షోభంబుగాక.' A. vi. 47. To dig up. పెల్లగించు. 'కోలలగెలికిన గుణములు గలవె.' Pal. 27. కెల్లగించు kella-ginṭsu. v. t. (p. 317) koṭṭu koṭṭu. [Tel.] v. a. To strike, knock. smite, beat, thrash. To attack (as rats do.) To rob, as highwaymen do. To quash, refute, defeat, dismiss, nonsuit. To strike off (the head) or behead. To strike out or rescind (a word). దారులు కొట్టు to rob (on) the high road. గోడను కాగితముకొట్టు to put (or stick) a paper on the wall. చప్పట్లుకొట్టు to clap the hands. అచ్చుకొట్టు to print. కొర్రుకొట్టు to impale. ఈతకొట్టు to swim. నన్నుముకొట్టు to whitewash. నన్ను దొంగలుకొట్టినారు thieves robbed me. చెంపకొట్టు to give a slap on the cheek. బుడ్డికొట్టు to crack a bottle, i.e, drink liquor. తలకొట్టు to behead, to ruin. పిండికొట్టు to pound flour. డేరాకొట్టు to pitch a tent. ఊడగొట్టు to loosen. చెడగొట్టు to spoil or ruin. తేలగొట్టు to set afloat. దిగగొట్టు to drive in. నలియగొట్టు to bruise. పండ్లు రాలగొట్టు to knock out a man's teeth. పగలగొట్టు a break to pieces. పడగొట్టు to throw down. పోగొట్టు to lose. విరుగగొట్టు to break; సాగగొట్టు to beat out (metal). ఊకొట్టు to hum in assent while listening. బుసకొట్టు to hiss. వాడు చేసిన దౌర్జన్యము వాణ్ని కొట్టినది his wickedness has fallen on his own head. నా నోట్లో మన్ను కొట్టినారు they have cast earth into my mouth, i.e., cheated or ruined me. కొట్టించు koṭṭinṭsu. v. t. To cause to beat.

(p. 426) ceṅgu chengu. [Tel.] v. n. To be loosened (as a knot) వీడిపోవు, తొలగు. To with draw, to retreat వెనుదీయు. To lose or fail in a game ఓడిపోవు. చెంగి ఆడు to talk indifferently. అక్కరపట్టనట్టుగా మాట్లాడు. చెంగిచెంగిపోవు to loiter in walking. కాయచెంగినది (at games with small balls) the ball stopped, or missed. రెండుగుంటలు చెంగినవి there are two holes without balls. చెంగగొట్టు to defeat ఓడించు.

To contract, shrivel, crack, open, split. జ్వరముతీసినది the fever went down. వెన్నుతీయు to come forth, or be produced (as a sprout,) to bud. కాళ్లు తీయుచున్నవి my legs throb or ache. ఏరు తీసిపోయినది the river has gone down. వెనక తీయు to fail, retire, withdraw, retreat, hesitate, or flinch. నాలుకతీసినది my tongue is dry, I am thirsty. వాని ఒళ్లు మిక్కిలి తీసిపోయినది he is greatly fallen away in flesh. నీళ్లు తీసిపోవు to dry up, sink, diminish, be exhausted. బలమంతా తీసిపోయినది my strength has gone. పాతర తీసియున్నది the granary was opened. తీయక unintermittingly, without intermission. వెనకతీయక without hesitation. తియ్యకుండా unfailingly, uninterruptedly, without intermission. తీయని incessant, unceasing. తీయించు tīyinṭsu. v. a. (p. 612) dōku dōku. [Tel.] v. a. To pare or shave the ground, cutting up the turf. To dig slightly so as to loosen the soil for weeding. నేలనుచెక్కు. దోకుడు or దోకిస dōkuḍu. adj. Paring or scraping the ground. దోకుట. దోకుడుపార dōkuḍu-pāra. n. A weeding spade. A sort of instrument like a hoe, for paring the ground and cutting up the turf for fodder. దోకుడుబార dōkuḍu-bāra. n. A game played by children.

(p. 657) nirasanamu nirasanamy. [Skt.] n. Rejection, denial, contradiction, disallowance. కాదనడము, ఆక్షేపము, తిరస్కారము. నిరసించు nirasintṣu. v. a. To reject, deny, contradict, set aside or disallow. తిరస్కరించు, విడుచు, నిరస్తము nirastamu. adj. Expelled, sent out, thrown out, cast out. Rejected, loosened (as a knot) పోగొట్టబడిన, నిరస్తపాపము sin that is removed.
