(p. 236) kaḍupu or కడ్పు kaḍupu. [Tel.] n. The belly or stomach. వాని కడుపు కాలుచున్నది he is very hungry; కడుపు కట్టుకొను to stint oneself, restrain one's appetite. కడుపుమంట heart burning, malice, envy. ఓర్వలేమి, ఈర్ష్య. వాని కడుపులోని మాట the thoughts of his heart. నన్ను కడుపులో పెట్టుకొని పెంచెను he reared me tenderly. కడుపుతోనుండు to be pregnant or with child. కడుపుదిగినది she had a miscarriage. కడుపుదించు to effect miscarriage, to cause an abortion. పరకడుపు an empty or fasting stomach. పొత్తికడుగు an empty or fasting stomach. పొత్తికడుపు the abdomen. కడుపు చల్లగా నుండుట to be happy or blessed. కాడువునోపి belly ahe, stomach ache. కడుపూద. (కడుపు+ఊద.) a cattle disease in which the belly is bloated; also, envy ఓర్వలేనితనము, ఈర్ష్య.

(p. 360) garbhamu garbhamu. [Skt.] n. The belly, the stomach, the womb. కడుపు. The inside of any thing, the interior; the middle. A fœtus కడుపులోని పిండము. నదీగర్భము the middle of a river. గర్భగృహము the nave, sanctuary, or shrine of a temple. గర్భముతోనున్న pregnant. గర్భముధరించు to conceive or become pregnant. ఆమె గర్భము కరిగిపోయింది she miscarried. ఆమెకు గర్భము నిలిచినది she has not miscarried. గర్భకలమము a swelling ear of corn. వరి పొట్టకరుకు. Vasu. ii. 101. గర్భాగారము a closet or recess. The eyeball. గుడ్లుపెట్టు to lay eggs. ఆవుగుడ్డుకార్చుకొన్నది the cow miscarried. కోడిగుడ్డాకారము an oval shape. గాలిగుడ్డు lit. a wind egg, i.e., nothing, nonsense. అది గాలిగుడ్డుమాట that is all nonsense. గుడ్డంతపిల్ల a little brat. గుడ్లగురివి guḍla-gurivi. n. A blind abject wretch. గుడ్లగూబ guḍla-gūba. n. An owl.

(p. 591) diñcu or దింపు dinṭsu. [Tel. causal of దిగు. v. t. To bring lower, let down, take off, put down, set down. To place, unload, disembark or land. To distil, or extract spirit. దిగజేయు. విషమునుదించు to bring down or dispel poison. గర్భమునుదించు to bring down the womb, i.e., cause miscarriage or abortion. కడుపుదించుకొను to cause abortion. విల్లెక్కుదించు to unbrace a bow. దింపించు the causal of దించు.
