To give a riddle to be solved. కథకుడు katha-kuḍu. n. A chronicler. A story teller కథ చెప్పువాడు. కథనము kathanamu. n. Telling చెప్పడము. కథించు kathinṭsu. v. t. To tell, relate, narrate చెప్పు. 'కథింతునీ కజోరికయలరన్' హరి. ఉ. v. కథితము kathi-tamu. adj. Said, that which is said చెప్పబడిన.

(p. 412) ciṭṭa chiṭṭa. [Tel.] n. A wonder. ఆశ్చర్యము. Trouble చింత, ఆయాసము. BD. vii. 217; v. 735: M. XII. iii. 441. చిట్ట adj. Invented కల్పితమైన. చెప్పచిట్టలు పూబోడి యొప్పుకలిమి her loveliness is a wonder to tell; or, it would take whole chapters to narrate her charms. చిట్ట a baby or little one.

(p. 841) prastāvamu pra-stāvamu. [Skt.] n. An opportunity, occasion, కార్యోచిత సమయము, అవసరము. A conversation, narration, mentioning. Mention. Incidental reference to a person or thing, ఒకనినిగూర్చి మాటయెత్తడము, ప్రశంసించుట, చెప్పుట. ప్రస్తావించు prastāvinṭsu. v. n. To tell in the course of conversation, to talk about, ప్రస్తావమునకు తెచ్చు. ప్రస్తాపము or ప్రస్తాపన prastāpamu. (corruption of ప్రస్తావము.) ఆ సంగతిని నాతో ప్రస్తాపము చేసినాడు he made a mention of this to me. వాడు ఆ ప్రస్తాపమెత్తలేదు he did not mention it.
