(p. 841) prastāvamu pra-stāvamu. [Skt.] n. An opportunity, occasion, కార్యోచిత సమయము, అవసరము. A conversation, narration, mentioning. Mention. Incidental reference to a person or thing, ఒకనినిగూర్చి మాటయెత్తడము, ప్రశంసించుట, చెప్పుట. ప్రస్తావించు prastāvinṭsu. v. n. To tell in the course of conversation, to talk about, ప్రస్తావమునకు తెచ్చు. ప్రస్తాపము or ప్రస్తాపన prastāpamu. (corruption of ప్రస్తావము.) ఆ సంగతిని నాతో ప్రస్తాపము చేసినాడు he made a mention of this to me. వాడు ఆ ప్రస్తాపమెత్తలేదు he did not mention it.

A certain style of composition, అభిధ, లక్షణ. వ్యంజస, లేక, కైశికి. అరభటి, సాత్వతి and భారతి. వృత్తిదారుడు vṛitti-dāruḍu. n. A proprietor of small grants of land, made free or rent or at a light rent, to Brahmins only.
