To pay attention to, give heed to, obey. మాటవినని disobedient. విన్నావా did you year? వింటివా have you heard? did you hear? వినడాయె he did not listen. పెద్దలమాటవిను listen to the advice of your superiors. స్కాందపురాణమువిన్నాడు he had the Skānda Purana read to him. వినబడు vina-baḍu. v. n. To be heard, విను. నాకు వినబడినది. I heard it. వినమి vinami. n. Not hearing, not obeying. వినకపోవడము. వినవచ్చు vina-vaṭsṭsu. v. n. To be heard. వినబడు. ఆ చప్పుడు వినవచ్చినది that noise reached my ears. వినికి, విన్కి or వినికిడి viniki. n. Audience, hearing, listening. వినడము. నాకు అట్లావినికి I have heard so. వినిపించు or వినుచు vinipinṭsu. v. a. To cause to hear. వినజేయు. To tell, to read out or aloud. ఆ జాబు నాకు వినిపించినాడు he read the letter to me. v. n. To be heard వినవచ్చు. నాకు వినిపించినది I heard it. తుపాకిలాగు వినిపించినది it sounded like a gun. వినుకత or విన్కలి vinukali. n. Hearing. వినికి, వినుట. వినుకలికంటి vinukali-kanṭi. n. A snake. వినువారిమాటలు slander, backbiting, చాడీమాటలు.
