An entertainment given to a friend on the occasion of his departure. పంపించడము, సెలవు విందుచేసి సాగనంపడము, బహుమానమిచ్చిపంపడము. అంపకముచేయు to dismiss, send away. అల్లునికి అంపకము చేసి పంపిరి they gave the son-in-law the entertainment preparatory to his departure and sent him away. Necessity, occasion, want, need, desire, అగత్యము. అక్కరతీర్చు to relieve from want. అది నాకక్కరలేదు I do not want it. దీనితో నీకేమి అక్కర what have you to do with this? నీవక్కడికి రావలసిన అక్కరయేమి what business had you to come there? అక్కరకొద్దీ మాట్లాడుట to speak as necessity demands. అది అక్కరకురాదు it will be of no use. వాడికి ఆ పని అక్కరపట్టలేదు he does not care for it. అక్కరకాడు one who is in need. అక్కరగలవాడు; అక్కరగండడు one who has an interest in an affair. శ్రద్ధగలవాడు; అక్కరపడు, అక్కరగొను to feel an interest in a thing. అక్కరకలిగియుండు, అక్కరపాటు a state of necessity. అక్కరపడుట.

(p. 96) avasaramu avasaramu. [Skt.] n. Occasion, opportunity, వేళ, సమయము, కార్యోచిత సమయము. ఇది మూడో అవసరము this is the third time. 'చేరవచ్చు నయ్యవసరంబున,' T. iii. 39. అవసరము also means food offered as a meal to a god, or a kind of mantram said on the occasion. శ్రీరంగములో అరువై అవసరములు అరగింపు చేయుదురు they make an offering of sixty meals. Also necessity, urgency, hurry, flurry. అగత్యము, ఆతురము. అవసరమైనప్పుడు నిన్ని పిలిపించుకొంటాను I will send for you when necessary. అవసరము చేస్తే పని వెడిపోవును if you hurry the business will be spoiled. అది నాకు అవసరము లేదు. I have no occasion for this. అవసరము adj. Necessary, urgent, hurried, hasty. అగత్యమైన, అతురమైన, అవసరమైన పని urgent business. అవసరపడు avasara-paḍu. v. n. To hurry, to haste. అవసరముగా adv. Urgently, in haste. అగత్యముగా, ఆతురముగా, అవసరించు ava-sarinṭsu. [Skt.] v. a. To hurry, make haste. త్వరచేయు.

(p. 99) aśubhamu a-ṣubhamu. [Skt.] n. Inauspiciousness. అమంగళము. శుభాశుభములు good and evil. వారిని శుభాశుభములకు పిలవడము లేదు they never invite them on any occasion either of joy or sorrow.

(p. 154) utta utta. [Tel.] adj. Empty, mere, bare, plain, actual, just, simple; idle, naked, vain, useless, in just, not serious, not in earnest, false. ఉత్తప్పుడు on common occasions, in general. ఉత్తదొంగపని actual theft. ఉత్త గుర్తము a horse without a rider. ఉత్తవారు persons not involved or concerned in a matter. ఇచ్చినప్పుడు ఉంటివా ఉత్తప్పుడు ఉంటివా were you present when he gave it, or at same other time?
