(p. 680) nēpāḷamu nēpāḷamu. [Skt.] n. The 'Nepaul plant' or physic nut, (Jack Spratt), Croton ṭiglium. Called also the coral plant from the flowers which look like red coral. See under ఆముదము. Rox. iii. 687. 682. నేపాళబడిదె a crabstick (or blackthorn) cudgel. వెర్రినేపాళము the common coral plant, which is worthless. నేపాళదేశము nēpāḷa-dēṣamu. n. The couṇtry of Nepaul.

(p. 747) pāḷa pāḷa. [Tel.] n. The husk or outer coat of a bud, as of that a cocoanut. Parij. iv. 18.

(p. 748) pāḷamu pāḷamu. [Tel.] n. A manner of method. విధము. Season, time. సమయము, A lump, ingot, or mass of metal. కడ్డి. Extent, కొలది. బిడ్డ ఆకలిపాళమెరిగి guessing when the child would be hungry. ఆ పాళవువారు men of that class. గరిటెపాళముగా as much as a spoonful. ఒల పాళముగా నుండే యిల్లు a moderate sized house. అతడు వచ్చే పాళముగానున్నది it looks as if he will come. పాళా pāḷā. n. An ingot or bar of metal. కడ్డీ. పాళాపు౛ొన్న pālāpu-ḍzonna. n. A species of millet (౛ొన్న,) which is of slow growth and has a large head.

(p. 795) pēpāḷamu pēpāḷamu. [Tel.] n. A medicinal plant having a leaf like that of the vine. Jatropha curcas. పిచ్చిపేపాళము the wild sort.

(p. 925) bhū bhū. [Skt.] adj. (In composition) Of the earth. భూకంపము bhū-kampamu. n. An earthquake. భూగతము bhū-gatamu. adj. Buried in the earth. భూచంపకము bhū-champakamu. n. Surfeit, disgust in eating, ముఖముకొట్టడము. 'తినతినజిహ్వకు తీపైన మొగచాటు, సారెకుబలుకుట చప్పదనము.' Venkatēswara. §. 16. మొగతప్పు or మొగతిరుగు moga-tappu. v. n. Prabhavati Pradyumnam, i. 3. మొగమిచ్చు moga-miṭsṭsu. v. n. To show the face, to favour, to be pleased, సుముఖుడగు. మొగమోటమి, మొగమొటము, మొగమోట or మోగమోటమి mogamōṭami. n. Partiality, pity, compassion, దాక్షిణ్యము. Hesitation, doubt, సంకోచము. మొగమోడు mogam-ōḍu. v. n. To be ashamed. సిగ్గుపడు. 'ముంగిటికే తెంచి మొగమోడనగునె.' Abhim. 47. To be partial, దాక్షిణ్యపడు. To hesitate, సంకోచించు. మొగవాడ moga-vāḍa. n. The front door of a temple. గోపుర ద్వారము. 'అరిమురిమొగవాడ దెరచివీక్షింప.' BD. iv. 661. మొగవీణె moga-vīṇe. n. A kind of వీణె, ముఖవీణె. మొగసరి moga-sari. (మొగము + అరి.) Same as మొగముట్టు (q. v.) మొగసాల, మొగసల or మోసాల moga-sāla. n. An entrance hall. నడవ. ముఖమంటపము, నగరితల వాకిటిచావడి. 'నీ తమ్ముండు పెద్ద మొగసాలం జాలు మానసులం గావలివెట్టి.' M. ix. ii. 34. A porch in front of a house, తలవాకిటిపంచ.

(p. 1066) rava or రవ్వ rava. [Tel.] n. A small particle. అణువు. A bit, తునక. A diamond. వజ్రము. A kind of horse's pace, అశ్వగతి విశేషము గోదుమరవ soojee or roulong, i.e., coarse wheat flour. రవలు small shot, తుపాకిలో వేసికాల్చే సన్నగుండ్లు. adj. Thin, fine, సన్నము. రవనెల్లా rava-sellā. n. A fine woven vest of transparent muslin. సన్నసెల్లా, ఉల్లిపొరవంటిగుడ్డ. రవంత or రవ్వంత rav-anta. n. A little, just a trifle. కొంచెము, స్వల్పము. adj. or adv. Tiny, a little, somewhat, rather. రవంతకష్టము it is a little difficult. రవగాలు or రవాలు rava-gālu. n. The name of a certain pace in horsemanship. అశ్వగమనభేదము. 'సీ రవగాలునకు సాటిరాకగాడ్పుపటాణి పొదలు పిగ్గునబోయి పొదలుసొచ్చె.' URK. i. 78. రవన్ని or రవ్వన్ని rav-anni. adj. A few, కొన్ని. రవపాళము rava-pāḷamu. adj.
