(p. 257) kalaśamu kalaṣamu. [Skt.] n. A vase, flagon, or water pot: కుండ. the gilt ornament on the pinnacle of a pagoda or tower. In palmistry, కలశరేఖలు certain lines in the palm of the hand. A. v. 31. కలశమునిలుపు or కలశముపెట్టు or కలశస్థాపనముచేయు the preliminary rite of solemnly placing a vase. కలశపూజ the adoration paid to that vessel, being the principal rite in all religious celebrations. కలశాబ్ధి kalaṣ-ābdhi n. (p. 387) goḍugu goḍugu. [Tel.] n. An umbrella. అతపత్రము, ఛత్రము. కుక్కగొడుగు a toadstool, a fungus, a mushroom. In palmistry, the name of a certain line in the palm. గొడుగుకామలు or గొడుగు కాడలు goḍugu-kāmalu. n. Staves foor umbrellas. గొడుగుబల్ల goḍugu-ballu. n. A piece of wood in which the upper hinge of a door turns. తలుపుమీదికుబుసముతిరిగేపట్టె.

(p. 1325) sāmudrikamu sāmudrikamu. [Skt. from సముద్రము.] adj. Belonging to the sea. n. Palmistry, the interpretation of spots on the body, and of lines in the hand. దేహములోనుండు మచ్చలను చేతిరేఖలనుచూచి అదృష్టమును చెప్పుశాస్త్రము. సాముద్రికుడు sāmudrikuḍu. n. One who knows palmistry, a palmister. ముచ్చలు రేఖలుచూచి అదృష్టము చెప్పువాడు.
