(p. 1028) mēḍi mēḍi. [Tel.] n. The Glomerous Fig tree. Fiscus racemosa. అత్తి, ఉదుంబరము. మేడిపండు the fruit of this tree. One species is బ్రహ్మమేడి and another is రాతిమేడి which grows parasitically on other trees. మేడికాయపైమిసిమి outward bloom, mere show.

The river Ganges, గంగ. సీతారామర్పణముగా చేసినదానము a gift made in the sacred names of Sīta and Rāma, a solemn gift. సీతకాటుకలు sīta-kāṭukalu. n. plu. (Lit. white and black) A sort of rice. ధాన్యభేదము. సీతమ్మ పురుగునూలు sīt-amma-purugu-nūlu. n. A certain parasitical plant, Cuscuta reflexa. వానకాలములో పొదలమీద అల్లుకొనే ఒకతీగ. సీతాకోకచిలక sītā-kōka-chilaka. n. A butterfly. చిత్రవిచిత్రమైన వర్ణములును ఏనుగుచెవులవలె పెద్దరెక్కలునుగల ఒక పురుగు. సీతాఫలము sītā-phalamu. n. The white custard apple, Annona squamosa, గండగాత్రము. సీతాభోగములు sītā-bhōgamulu. n. A sort of rice. వడ్లలోభేదము.
