(p. 15) ampakamu or అంపకాలు ampakamu. [Tel.] n. Permission to go; dismission. An entertainment given to a friend on the occasion of his departure. పంపించడము, సెలవు విందుచేసి సాగనంపడము, బహుమానమిచ్చిపంపడము. అంపకముచేయు to dismiss, send away. అల్లునికి అంపకము చేసి పంపిరి they gave the son-in-law the entertainment preparatory to his departure and sent him away. 'బ్రహ్మసభకేనుబోయి కొంత, కాలముదుండి యజుడంపకంబుసేయ, మానవసరంబునకువచ్చి.' H. 4. 7

(p. 49) ananyamu an-anyamu. [Skt.] adj. One, sole, without any other, same, identical. ఏకమైన, అనితరమైన, అదే అనన్యవిషయము exclusively applicable. అనన్యగతికుడు n. He who has only one refuge or asylum. వేరేగతిలేనివాడు. అనన్యాదృశము n. adj. Not seen elsewhere. Unparalleled, prodigious, strange. అసమానమైన, వింతైన.

(p. 55) anupamamu an-upamamu. [Skt.] adj. Incomparable, unrivalled, unparalleled. అసదృశ్యమైన, ఈడుకాని. అనుపమితము uncompared, that cannot be compared, matchless.

Funeral prayers. అపరరాత్రి midnight, the latter half of the night. అపరలోకము another world. అపరవారధి the western ocean. వాడు పూర్వాపరములు చేయించగలడు he is qualified as priest to solemnize both the marriage and funeral rites. అపరాహ్నము or అపరాహ్ణము [Skt. అపర+అహ్నము.] n. (p. 66) apratidvandvuḍu a-prati-dvandvuḍu. [Skt.] n. He who is incomparable or matchless in battle. అసమానుడైనవాడు.
