(p. 165) uppiḍi uppiḍi. [Tel. from ఉప్పు+ఇడి] adj. Saltless, unsalted. ఉప్పు లేని. ఉప్పిడిచప్పిడి మాటలు nonsense. ఉప్పిడి చప్పిడి good or bad. ఉప్పిడి చప్పిడి లేని కూడు dry bread: lit. a mess without any flavour.

(p. 200) ēru ēru. [Tel.] v. t. To glean or pick up one after another ఎదుటనుండు వస్తువుల నొకటొకటిగా ఎత్తు. To attain age as in ఈడేరు ఏరించు ērinṭsu. v. t. To cause to pick up one after another. ఏరునట్లుచేయు. ఏరుకొను ēru-konu. v. i. To pick up. ఏరుపిడక ēru-piḍaka. n. A cowdung cake that is picked up and is not mixed with bran, &c., for fuel.

Vapid, tasteless, insipid. రసహీనము. చప్పనిభూమి barren land. చప్పనినీళ్లు insipid water. చప్పబడ్డ inactive, passive, spiritless. చప్పనిపథ్యము a plain diet ఆ యుద్ధము చప్పచల్లారినది the battle is entirely calmed down. చప్పగా ṭsappa-gā. adv. Insipidly. చప్పగానుండే tasteless, unattractive. చప్పసొర్ర ṭsappa-sorra. n. A kind of fish Zygæna blochii (F.B.I.) చప్పదనము or చప్పన ṭsappa-danamu. n. Insipidity. చప్పిడి ṭsappiḍi. adj. Flat, not projecting: insipid: void of any taste. చప్పిడిముక్కు a flat pug nose. చప్పిడి పిరుదులచిన్నది a thin-flanked girl.

(p. 753) piṭṭa piṭṭa. [Tel.] n. A small bird. A little thing. నక్కపిట్ట a small wild root. This name is applied to some fish, as ఈసపిట్ట. adj. Trifling. పిట్టకథలు idle stories. పిట్టపిడుగు piṭṭa-piḍugu. adj. Inevitable, అనివార్యము. పిట్టకాసు or పిత్తడికాసు piṭṭa-kāsu. n. A small kind of fish: what in England is called the Miller's Thumb.

(p. 753) piḍaka or పిడుక piḍaka. [Tel. from పిడుచు.] n. A cake of cowdung dried for fuel. కత్తిపిడక a toddyman's case, containing his knife, &c. పిడకమొసలి Same as శింశుమారము (q. v.)

(p. 753) piḍaca or పిడుచ piḍaṭsa. [Tel. from పిడుచు.] n. A handful; as much as can be clutched. పిడచపాత a besom or bit of cloth used in smearing, అలుకుచుట్ట.
