(p. 111) aḍi āḍi. An affix (derived from ఆడు) implying 'doer' or 'performer,' as మాయలు tricks, మాయలాడి a rogue: ముద్దులు fondness, ముద్దులాడి a fond girl: కులుకులు graces, కులుకులాడి a lovely woman: టక్కులు pranks, టక్కులాడి a cheat.

(p. 180) ekasakemu or ఎకసక్కెము ekasakemu. [Tel.] n. A prank, trick. వంచన. Mockery పరిహాసము. 'చక్కెరవింటివాని యెకసక్కె ములన్నియుచూపు' indulging in all sorts of amorous pranks.

(p. 226) kanduva kanduva. [Tel.] n. 1. A way, path. 2. A place, locality, quarter ప్రదేశము 3. A season ఋతువు. 4. Fashion, mode, device, trick, peculiarity. 5. Peculiar, odd, queer, Pretty, curious, Cunning, false, fictitious. కందువమాటలు a quibble: a play upon words. కందువ పద్మము a fairy lily, not a real one. కందువ రాజులు mere pretenders: mock warriors.

(p. 273) kāmi kāmi. [Tel. neg. noun from అవు.] n. The not being. That which is not or nil. కొరగాములు evil doings, naughty pranks. 'ఇంక నెన్నండు నిట్టి కొరగాములు సేయక బుద్ధిమంతుడవై యుండిమనిన నతండు లజ్జావనతవదనుండగుచు నచ్చోటువాసి గంగాద్వారంబున కరిగియందు' M. III. vi. 'క 'ఏనట్లు చూచి చెప్పితిగాని యది రణంబుపాటిగామి యెరుగుదున్' M. (p. 287) ku ku. [Skt.] n. In composition signifies bad, vile కుత్సితము. కుయుక్తి a wicked device. కుమతి a bad disposition. కుచోద్యము a vile prank. So కుతర్కము. కుజనుడు. Also కు = the earth.

(p. 291) kucēṣṭa ku-chēshṭa. [Skt.] n. A wicked prank.

(p. 292) kuṭṭanamu kuṭṭanamu. [Skt.] n. Striking, beating, smiting. ఖరకుట్టనము stamping, prancing.

(p. 400) ghaṭṭana ghaṭṭana. [Skt.] n. Ramming down: a road, &c., గట్టించుట. ఘట్టనకాడు one who hardens. ఈ దారికి ఘట్టనచాలదు this road has not been sufficiently beaten or rammed. అశ్వఖురఘట్టనము the prancings of horses.

(p. 405) camatkariñcu chamat-karinṭsu. [Skt.] v. a. To refine on (an idea), to play upon (words.) To be adroit or accomplished. To play amorous pranks with. To cast up the earth, as a worm does. చెక్కుటద్దము chekku-ṭ-addamu. n. A mirror (అద్దము) set in a frame. (చెక్కినది.) చెక్కుడుపార chekkuḍu-pāra. n. A sort of spade for cutting turf. చెక్కొను chek-konu. v. n. (middle voice of చెక్కు.) To adjust, trim, set right. చెక్కించు chekkinṭsu. v. t. To thrust forward the breast, as a crowing cock does. చెక్కు n. The side, in general. The check. The rind or side of a fruit. Half a pack; being as much as is on each side of a bullock. వానికి చెక్కు చెమర్చినది he was quite exhausted. చెక్కులుపిక్కలు pranks, roguery. చెక్కుచెదరక unharmed, untouched, intact. అది చెక్కు చెదరకుండనున్నది it is in excellent order.
