A conspirator, an accomplice. తంత్రవాది tantra-vādi. n. A clever, ingenious man.

(p. 613) dōyamu dōyamu. [Tel.] n. A dose, a certain prescribed quantity. 'పాలుతుర్థము గ ఇల్లిపాషాణము గ ఈ రెండు దోయాలున్న.' Chikitsa. S. S.

(p. 639) nasyamu nasyamu. [from Skt. నాసిక.] n. Snuff; any powder, or liquid which physicians prescribe to be snuffed up into the nose. నస్యముపిడుచు to express the juice of any herb into the nose. నస్యము వేయు to use such a medicine.

To order, command, ordain, prescribe, allot, adjudge, assign. ఆజ్ఞాపించు, నిర్ణయించు, ఏర్పాటుచేయు, కట్టడచేయు. వానికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము విధించినారు they appointed him a penance. ఈ శీక్ష విధింపబడినది this punishment was awarded. యాభైరూపాయలు అపరాధము (లేక, జులమానా) విధించినారు they sentenced him to pay a fine of Rs. 50. విధ్యుక్తము vidh-yuktamu. adj. Prescribed, legal, యథావిధియైన. విధ్యుక్తముగా vidh-yuktamu-gā. adv. Legally, in proper form or manner, యథావిధిగా.

(p. 1198) vihitamu vi-hitamu. [Skt.] adj. Ordered, prescribed, ordained, విధింపబడిన. Fit, proper, right, orderly, necessary. Friendly, intimate. Placed, deposited. Done, made. యుక్తమైన, అనుకూలమైన, ఉంచబడ్డ, చేయబడ్డ. వారిగ్రామములు దోచుట విహితముకాదని considering that it is not proper for use to plunder their villages. 'ఇమ్మహాభారతంబిమ్ముల బాయకవిహితావధానులైవినుచునుండువారికి.' M. I. i. 114. విహితము vi-hitamu. n. Friendship, intimacy. Propriety, fitness, justice. స్నేహము, యుక్తము, న్యాయము. అది విహితమే that is proper. అది విహితము కాదు that is not proper. విహితముగా vi-hitamu-gā. adv. In a friendly manner, on good terms, స్నేహముగా, అనుకూలముగా. విహితుడు vi-hituḍu. n. A friend, companion, ally. స్నేహితుడు, అనుకూలుడు. తమకు విహితులైనవారు those who are your friends.

(p. 1250) śāsanamu ṣāsanamu. [Skt.] n. A command or order, ఆజ్ఞ. Punishment. శిక్షించుట. శిక్ష. An edict, act or command, a charter or royal grant of land, or of villages, &c., usually inscribed on stone or copper. A writing; an inscription, a deed, a contract. Government rule. భూమ్యాదిదానార్థలేఖ్యము రాజు తాను దానము చేసిన భూమ్యాదులకై వ్రాసియిచ్చిన కాలు, అధికారము, రాజ్యపాలనము.
