(p. 119) āyamu āyamu. [Tel. and Skt.] n. A vital part of the body. జీవస్థానము particulars, details, Receipt, gain, profit. వచ్చుబడి, ఆదాయము. Toll, tax customs, income. సుంకము. (p. 367) giṭṭu giṭṭu. [Tel.] v. n. To die, expire. చచ్చు, నశించు. 'పుట్టిరేని వారుగిట్టిరేని' what though they be born, what though they die (Vēma). To suit, agree, match or meet, to be met. అనుకూలించు. to gnash. వాడికి పండ్లుగిట్టుకొనిపోయినవి his teeth were set in agony. వానికిని నాకును గిట్టదు he and I do not agree. నాకు గిట్టనివారు those who hate me, my ill wishers. ధరగిట్టక not agreeing on a price. అది నాకు గిట్టదు I do not like it, I cannot endure it. గిట్టీగిట్టక ఉన్నారు they are hardly on good terms. గిట్టని unsuitable. గిట్టమి disagreement, enmity. గిట్టమితనము spitefulness. v. a. To attack, meet with; లేండ్లగమిగిట్టుకోల్పులి the tiger that attacks the deer. M. 9. 1. 260. కలియు, కదియు, పైపడు, తాకు, పొదుపుకొను. 'శక్తిదండకృపాణ పాశములు నీటెగదయు శూలముగొని నిశాచరుని గిట్టి' T. v. 111. గిట్టుబడి or గిట్టింపు giṭṭubaḍi. n. Profit (in trade): in demand. గిట్టింపైన సరుకులు goods that are profitable to the seller, good articles.

(p. 370) guñjāyiṣī gunjāyishī [H.] n. Capacity, profit. లాభము. Defect, incompleteness, imperfection లోపము. ఈ లెక్కలో గుంజాయిషీ యేమిన్ని లేదు there is not defect in this account.

In the direction of, near; the act or state of వాలుదల slanting. ఊరిదల near the town. విడుదల release. దిగుదలపొలము the lower fields. చావుదల the state of dying. కమ్ముదల concealment. మోపుదల weight, charge. తిరుగుదల turning. వ్యాధి తిరుగుదలగానున్నది the disease is on the turn. తగులుదల cost. తగులుదలవ్యయములు the sum incurred. నిలుపుదల deferring, postponement, suspension. కూడుదల help. దానివల్ల ఇంటివారికి కొంచెము కూడుదల ఉండినది. thereby they had some profit. నదికి ఎగుదల up the river. నదికి దిగుదల down the river.

(p. 537) tuṭṭu tuṭṭu. [Tel.] n. Loss, failure in mercantile profits. నష్టి, ఈ వ్యవహారములో నా సొమ్ముతుట్టు పెట్టుకొన్నాను I incurred loss in this business. One who destroys నాశకుడు.

(p. 541) tuṣṭi tushṭi. [Skt.] n. Satisfaction, fulness. సంతోషము. Profit or advantage. లాభము. ఆ నష్టికి ఈ శుష్టికి సరి this profit and that loss are equivalent. తుష్టుడు tushṭuḍu. n. One who is full or satisfied. సంతోషము పొందినవాడు.
