(p. 77) ayyu or అయ్యుడు ayyu. [Tel. from అయి+యు conj. (from అగు] Although. అయినప్పటికిన్ని. నిర్మలుడయ్యు though he be pure.

(p. 99) aśuddhamu or అశుద్ధత a-ṣuddhamu. [Skt.] n. Impurity, uncleanness. పారిశుద్ధ్యము లేమి (Colloq:) the human excrement. అమేధ్యము. అశుద్ధము adj. Unclean, impure. అశుచియైన.

(p. 122) āreceṭṭu āre-cheṭṭu. [Tel.] n. A tree (Bauhinia Spicata) with large leaves and a fruit like cranberries. పెద్ద ఆరెచెట్టు Bauchinia purpurea. తెల్ల ఆరెచెట్టు Bauhinia racemosa. శ్వేతకాంచనము. కాంచిని ఆరెచెట్టు. Bauhinia tomentosa. అడ్డచెట్టు Bauhinia Vahlii. నీరు ఇప్పచెట్టు Bauhinia retusa. (Watts.) ఆరెకూర Vegetables or curry made of the leaves of the ఆరెచెట్టు.

(p. 136) iddhamu iddhamu. [Skt.] adj. Glowing, shining, pure. ప్రకాశము, శుగ్ధము, ఇద్ధచరితుడు iddha-charituḍu. A man of glorious deeds. ఇద్ధరూపి iddha-rūpi. One of glorious form.

(p. 157) udiri udiri. [Tel.] adj. Fine, pure. Refined. తప్తము, ఉదరి బంగారు fine gold అపరంజి R. vii. 184. 'ఉదిరి నెత్తిమ్ములు lilies. ఉదిరికాగిటన్ in a sweet embrace. ఉదిరిగొను udiri-gonu. v. i. To be hot, to melt. తపించు.

(p. 226) kandu kandu. [Tel.] n. Blackness, discoloration, as by scorching: a dark shade as in the face of the moon నలుపు. Evil, harm. కీడు. Pain తాపము. 'ఇత్తెరంగున గలుగు కందెల్లనోర్చి' M. IV. iv. 60. An infant బిడ్డ. adj. Blackish, dark, impure (as silver) కందువెండి base silver. కందు or కందుపారు kandu. v. n. To scorch, be scorched or charred. మలినమగు. To redden, or be inflamed. To become black నలుపగు. To be annoyed or grieved తపించు. మనసుకందిన వాడై being vexed or grieved.

(p. 234) kaḍacanu kaḍa-ṭsanu. [Tel.] v. i. To die చచ్చు. To perish నసించు. To end, to be finished ముగియు. v. t. To leap across, to cross దాటు. కడచన్నపసిడి pure gold.
