(p. 1030) mērupu or మేరు mēruvu. [Tel.] n. A pyramid, a cone. శిఖరము, కూచి. The centre jewel in the top of a necklace. A carboy, jar, or great bottle of rose water. The top or ridge of a pent roof. [Skt.] The name of Mount Mēru, a mountain of gold (the Olympus of India), హేమాద్రి.

(p. 1359) sōga sōga. [Tel.] adj. Long, tall, prolonged. దీర్ఘమైన, నిడుపైన, సోగైనగుండు a pyramidal rock, a shaft. Ila. ii. 43. సోగమెడ a long neck. సాగ or సోగతనము n. Length. దైర్ఘ్యము. 'తళుకుందేటయువిప్పు సోగ తన మందంబొప్పగా.' T. iii. 66.
