(p. 1007) muppiri mup-piri. [Tel.మూడు + పిరి.] n. Three folds. మూడుపిరులు. adj. Threefold, triple. Of three twists or strands (పురి), as a cord. ముప్పిరిదారము a threefold cord. ముప్పిరిగొను mup-piri-gonu. v. n. To redouble or swell. మూడుమార్లు పెనగొను, అతిశయించు. ముప్పరిగొన్న threefold, redoubled, vehement. ముప్పిరిగొన్న మొహము redoubled, vehement. ముప్పిరిగొన్న మోహము redoubled love. ముప్పిరిగొన్న వేడుక exceeding joy. 'చలము కోపంబు రోషంబు నీ ముడు ముప్పిరిగొనగ' annoyance, anger, and spite united to spur him on. Nala. D. iii. 58. ముప్పరిచేప or ముంగి ముప్పిరి muppiri-chēpa. n. A kind of fish, a species of Sparus, Mesoprion quinque lincatus.

(p. 1008) mummaramu mummaramu [Tel.] n. Vehemence, excess. ఉగ్రము. జ్వరముయొక్క ముమ్మరము the crisis of the fever. జ్వరముయొక్క ముమ్మరము తగ్గినది the vehemence of the fever is now past. అతని పని యిప్పుడు నిండా ముమ్మరముగానున్నది his star is now in the ascendant. adj. Vehement, excessive, మిక్కిలి అతిశయమైన, ఉగ్రమైన. ముమ్మరముగా mummaramu-gā. adv. Vehemently, excessively. మిక్కిలి అతిశయముగా, ఉగ్రముగా. ముమ్మరించు mummarinṭsu. v. n. To grow stronger, redouble, exceed, become violent, to come to its height or crisis. ఉగ్రమగు. జ్వరము ముమ్మరించినది the fever reached in height, maximum, or crisis.

(p. 1084) reṭṭa reṭṭa. [Tel.] n. The upper part of the arm. భుజము. Filth, the dung of birds or fish or fish, పక్షిమలము. A certain tint of carmine used in painting, వర్ణవిశేషము. వానిరెట్టసడలినది his shoulder is dislocated. కోడిరెట్ట fowl's dung. రెట్ట is also the name of an astronomer whose school is called రెట్టమతము. రెట్టనాడి reṭṭa-nāḍi. adj. Double muscled, strong. బలిష్ఠమైన. రెట్ట నాడిగుర్రము a strong horse. రెట్టి reṭṭi. n. and adj. A double or twofold. ద్విగుణము. మూడురెట్లు threefold. రెట్టించు reṭṭinṭsu. v. a.
