(p. 273) kāyamu kāyamu. [Skt.] n. The body. అతడు చచ్చినప్పటికిన్ని బహుధర్మాత్ముడని పేరుపడి యశఃకాయముతో యిప్పిటికిన్ని జీవించుచున్నాడు though he is dead, through his reputation for charity he still lives in his fame. కాయము [Tel.] n. A certain restorative medicine, administered to a woman in childbed. బాలెంతలకిచ్చే మందు. H. i. 114. కాయపుష్టి kāyapushṭi. n. Stoutness. కాయసిద్ధి corporeal perfection imagined to be attainable by religious austerities. కాయసిద్ధుడై ఉన్నాడు he bears a charmed life.

(p. 922) bhikṣa or భిక్షము bhiksha. [Skt.] n. Alms, బిచ్చము. Hire, wages, కూలి. A boon, a great favour. దీన్నిభిక్షణముగా అడుగుతున్నాను I entreat this as a boon or particular favour. పతిభిక్ష entreaty for the restoration of a husband. BD. iv. 1347. వాడు పెట్టినది భిక్షగానున్నది his pleasure is law, he is all powerful. భవతీ భిక్షాందేహి give me an alms. భిక్షకుడు bhikshakuḍu. (corruption of భిక్షకుడు.) n. A beggar. భిక్షించు bhikshinṭsu. v. n. &a. To beg, take alms. 'సరసిజభవుజడల్ జన్నిదంబులుగ, బరగభీక్షించిన బ్రాహ్మణుండతడు.' BD. iv. 112.

(p. 1274) sañjīvi sanjīvi. [Skt.] n. That which gives or revives life, జీవమును కలుగజేయునది. A medicine which prolongs life. ఆయుస్సును వృద్ధిచేయుమందు. సంజీవకరణి sanjīva-karaṇi. n. A restorative, a cordial, a reviving medicine, a medicine tending to prolong life, or of sufficient efficacy to raise the dead. మళ్లీ బ్రతికించేమందు. 'ఘనతరసంజీవకరణి మోపగను వనితదిగ్గునలేచివచ్చినజూచి.' Sar. D. 675. 'స్థిరమైనయా యౌషధీశైల మెక్కి, కరమొప్పసంజీవకరణి విశల్య, కరణియు సంధానకరణి సౌవర్ణ, కరణినానాలు గౌషధములుగలువు.' DRY. 1504. సంజీవనము san-jīvanamu. adj. Animating, bringing to life. బ్రతికించే.
