(p. 295) kabjamu kubjamu. [Skt.] adj. Hump backed, deformed. మరుగుజ్జైన. కుబ్జవటము the dwarf banyan tree. కుబ్జుడు kubjuḍa n. A cripple, a hump back.

(p. 252) karuḍu karuḍu. [Tel.] n. A lump, mass, clot. ముద్ద. A turf. The snuff of a wick. A wave, a ripple. A daily account or day book. దినవహి. పెంటికరుడు the lesser or female surf, being the one nearest shore. పోతుకరుడు the male surf being the furthest. పిండికరుడు a piece of bread, or dough. కరుడుకట్టు karuḍu-kaṭṭu. Lost, gone, past, over, late. పోయిన, గతదినము the last day. గతఫలము loss of advantage. గతజీవితులయి who had lost their lives. గతకాలము the past time. గతకులము a family which is extinct. గతజలసేతుబంధనము banks for a stream that has run dry, a proverb for pains taken too late (shutting the stable door after the horse is stolen.) గతాహంకారులై he who has lost his wits. గతాహంకారులై they being stripped of their pride. గతము n. Passing away. పోక. గతపడు. gata-paḍu. v. n. To pass away. కడచు. To die చచ్చు గతపడ్డ dead. గతవడగ్రస్తవద్యము or ముక్తవదగ్రస్తవద్యము gata-pada-grasta-padyamu. n. A poetical conceit, Capped lines wherein the last word of each line is repeated at the beginning of the next.

(p. 370) gīyu gīyu. [Tel.] v. a. To draw a line గీత గీయు. To scratch, or scrape. To strip off leaves: to tap a palm tree by cutting lines in it. ఆకులుగీసేకత్తి a large knife for stripping off leaves, a pruning knife. గీచు.

(p. 374) guḍitrippu guḍi-trippu. n. To ride round the ring. To lunge a horse. గుడిబ్రాహ్మణుడు or గుడివడుగు a Brahmin who officiates in a temple. గుడికొంగ guḍi-konga. n. The paddy Bird or Pond Heron, ardcola grayi. (F.B.I.)

(p. 376) gunaguna guna-guna. [Tel.] n. (Anuk: of running), tripping along, trotting along. ఆ చెట్టు ఆకులు గునగున పెరిగినవి the leaves have come out very delicately కోమలముగా. గుండ్రాతికి కాళ్లు వచ్చి గునగుననడిచెను the stones moved slowly. 'గునగున చీమలు గుడ్లెత్తుకొనిపార.' Velag. iii. 4.

(p. 383) gūnu gūnu. [Tel.] n. A hump. A crooked back. గూని agūni. adj. Crooked. గూని చూపు drooping glances. Internal. గూనిపోటు an inward bruise. గూనివాడు or గూనిది a cripple, a dwarf కబ్జుడు. గూనుగిల్లు gūnu-gillu. v. n. To have or get a crooked back. గూనుకలుగు.

(p. 391) gōci gōchi. [Tel.] n. A clout. A truss or flap; a waist cloth. ఇనుపగోచి an iron buckle fabled to be worn by ascetics. వాడు ఇనుప గోచికట్టినాడు he took a vow of chastity. కోకగోచిపెట్టుకొను to draw the skirt of the petticoat between the thighs, and tuck it into the waist behind. గోచిదరిద్రము nakedness, utter poverty. గోచికాడై stripped naked.
