To be selected, distinguished, separated, arranged, appointed. రూపగు, తేటపడు,బయలుపడు, నిర్ణయింపబడు. కర్తలై యేర్పడినారు they appeared as, or, turned out to be the heirs. ఏర్పరుచు or ఏర్పరించు ērparaṭsu. v. a. (p. 413) ciṭṭe or చిట్టియ chiṭṭe. [Tel.] n. The edge of cloth. బట్టలు అంచుకమ్మి. A picture, whim, idea, freak, invention, scheme, plot. An incomplete heap of salt. చిట్టెలు, అనగా చిత్రపటములు, తంత్రములు.

(p. 521) tātparyamu tātparyamu. [Skt. from తత్పరి.] n. Intention, import, purport, meaning, drift Thought, idea, view, design, purpose, inclination. An object, scheme, plan. అభిప్రాయము. (See on తత్పరుడు.) నా తాత్పర్య మేమంటే what I mean is. తాత్పర్యుడు tātparyuḍu. n. He who holds an opinion. ఇందువల్ల సంభవించినదని తాత్పర్యులై ఉన్నారు they are of opinion that this is the cause of it.

A wicked man. దిట్టపడుdiṭṭa-paḍu. v. n. To fit, answer. To be stout or trim. To be verified, come true, be fulfilled. దిట్టపరచు diṭṭa-paraṭsu. v. a. To regulate, order, ordain, trim, establish, ratify. దిట్టము diṭṭamu. n. Firmness, stoutness, tenacity, tightness, good order. దృఢత్వము. A statute or order, నిర్ణయము. దిట్టముచేయు to arrange, settle. అతడు అరవకుండా దిట్టముచేసినారు they took precautions against his crying out. A scheme; a statement showing what land each man cultivates and the respective assessment. దిట్టము adj. Settled, arranged. Firm, stout, tenacious, solid, tight, orderly. దిట్టము an affix. About. అరదిట్టము about half. ముక్కాలు దిట్టము about three quarters.

(p. 709) pannu pannu. [Tel.] v. n. To prepare oneself for battle. యుద్ధమునకు సిద్ధపడు. To happen, కలుగు. v. a. To make, form, invent, frame, చేయు, ఏర్పరుచు, కలుగజేయు. One who is given to imprison people. చెరవేయు స్వభావముగలవాడు. బందెవేయు bande-vēyu. v. a. To impound cattle. To exact a fine for cattle that have trespassed.

(p. 970) māḍu māḍu. [Tel.] v. n. To be burnt or scorched. కాలు, కాలిపోవు. ఆ పుండు మాడిపోయినది the boil dried up. n. Rice or any other food burnt in cooking. అడుగున బొగ్గులైపోయిన అన్నము. The gable end of a house, ఇంటి యొక భాగపు కప్పు. మాడుచు, మాడ్చు or మాడించు māḍuṭsu. v. a. To burn, scorch, blacken, మాడజేయు. వాండ్ల పుటము మాడ్చినాడు he burnt their fining pot, i.e. he broke up their scheme. వాడు ముఖము మాడ్చుకొనినాడు he looked sulky. మాడుచెక్క māḍu-chekka. n. Burnt rice. అడుగున చెక్కలుగా మాడిన అన్నము.

An effort, excrtion, endeavour; a method, measure, step, plan, scheme, intention, design, purpose. ౛తనము, ఉద్యోగము, కడక, ఉపాయము. దైవయత్నము a decree or interposition of Providence, the finger of God. యత్నించు or యత్నపడు yatninṭsu. v. n.
