(p. 563) tō or తోడ tō. [Tel. from తోడు.] conj. With, together with, accompanied by, accompanying or following. కూడా, వెంబడి. వానిని కత్తితో పొడిచెను he stabbed him with a knife. నాతో చెప్పు tell me. జ్వరముతో నున్నాడు he is in a fever. ఉపవాసముతో నున్నారు they are fasting. సంకటముతో నుండే diseased, sick. నున్న దయతో చూడుము look on me with favour. చమురుగలుగుదివ్వె సరవితో మండును a lamp that has oil burns with clearness. Vēma. i. 43. అతనితో మనవిచేస్తిని I represented this to him. చీకటితో లేచి వెళ్లినారు they set out in the dark, i.e., before dawn.

(p. 605) dūyu or దుయ్యు dūyu. [Tel.] v. a. To penetrate, go through. గుచ్చుకొను. To pull off the scabbard, as a sword. To take palm leaves out of a volume. ఊడదీయు to strip off leaves or boughs. To pluck, take, as a handful of grass. వరదూసి pulling off the scalbard. దెబ్బ దూసిపోయినది the blow glanced off. పేగులు దిస్సిరాపొడిచి stabbed him so that the bowels came out. Pal. 424. దూయుతీగె Same as దుశ్శిరము. (q. v.) దూయించు dūyinṭsu. (causal of దూయు.) v. a. To draw across, to pass over. కాలినగడ్డపారచేత దూయించెను he passed a hot iron over the hand. (This is a ceremony of ordeal in oaths, quite distinct from cauterizing.) దూసిపోవు to go through or penetrate. To glance off, as a dart.

(p. 1050) mruccu or ముచ్చు mruṭsṭsu. [Tel.] n. A thief, దొంగ. See ముచ్చు. మ్రుచ్చిలు or మ్రుచ్చిలించు mruchchilu. v. a. To steal, దొంగిలించు. To deceive, వంచించు. మ్రుచ్చిలి or మ్రుచ్చిమి mruchchili. n. Theft. దొంగతనము, చౌర్యము. మ్రుచ్చిలిపోటు mruchchili-pōṭu. n. Attacking or stabbing a person when he is asleep, నిద్రపోవుచచుండగా పైబడిచేయుయుద్ధము. మ్రుచ్చుగోర mruṭsṭsu-gōṛa. (మ్రుచ్చు + కోర.) n. A notorious thief, పెద్దదొంగ. మ్రుచ్చుప్రొద్దు mruṭsṭsu-proddu. n. Midnight, అర్ధరాత్రము.
