Favourable, friendly, assisting, salubrious. హీతమైన, సహాయమైన, ఆరోగ్యమైన, శ్రేయస్కరమైన. అనుకూలమైన గాలి a favourable wind. వాని శరీరమునకు అనుకూలమైన స్థలము the place which agrees with him. అనుకూలమైనమాట a friendly word. అనుకూలశత్రువు a friendly enemy అనుకూల కాలము a suitable time. అనుకూలము or అనుకూలత n. Favour, goodness, kindness, aid. సహాయము, మేలు, దయ. దయ ద్రవ్యానుకూలము means, resource. దైవానుకూలము వల్ల by the grace of God. అనుకూలించు, అనుకూలపడు or అనుకూలమగు anukūlinṭsu. [Skt.] v. n. To be of use ఒదవు. To have effect, to have a good result. సఫలమగు, ఒనగూడు. అనుకూలము కాలేదు it failed, it had not the desired effect. నాకు ఇంకా రూకలు అనుకూల పడలేదు I have not yet obtained the money ఈ పని నీకు అనుకూలమగును you will succeed in this business. అనుకూలము చేయు or అనుకూలవరచు anukūlamuchēyu. v. a. To shew favour, to bring a thing about, to countenance. సహాయము చేయు, నెరవేర్చు. కార్యమును అనుకూలము చేసికొన్నారు they brought it about, brought it to a conclusion. అనుకూలుడు anukūluḍu. n. A friend, ally, patron. హితుడు, సహాయుడు, ఉపకారి. వాడు నాకు అనుకూలుడు he is well disposed towards me.

(p. 294) kuduru kuduru. [Tel.] v. n. To settle. స్థిరమగు. To recover (from illness) స్వస్థమగు. To be set, arranged, fixed, settled. To be got, obtained, found, come to hand. To fit or suit. అనుకూలమగు. To be introduced into an employ, to enter on it. To become firm, resolute. To succeed, prosper, flourish. కుదిరిన వ్రాత a settled handwriting అంతా బాగా కుదిరినది all is now right or settled. గణములు కుదరలేదు the metre is defective. ఆ పని వానికి కుదిరినది he obtained that employment. నాకు ఇల్లు కుదరలేదు. I cannot obtain lodgings. కుదురుపాటు kuduru-pāṭu. n. Settlement, arrangement, cure, remedy. కుదురుచు or కుదుర్చు or కుడిరించు kuduruṭsu. (causal of కుదురు.) v. n. To restore, to settle or arrange, to curl, to heal, to pacify, to calm, to fix or place. కుదురు kuduru. n. (G. కుదిటి Loc. కుదుట. Plu. కుదుళ్లు.) n. Settlement. Symmetry, gracefulness, beauty. Trimness, orderliness. అమరిక. Health, perfection. A family వంశము. One branch of a family. A garden bed. పాదు. A support or prop ప్రాపు. a ledge, or rim, preventing grain falling out of a mortar. A settle or ring of cord to prevent a pot from rolling over. చనుకుదురు a cancer in the breast. వాడు ఒక కుదిటివాడు he belongs to one branch of the family. ఒక్క కుదురైయున్నారు they live as one family. కుదురుకొను or కుదురుపడు kuduru-konu. v. n. To settle, to be settled. కదలకనిలుచు, నెలకొను, స్థిరపడు.

(p. 555) tēlu tēlu. [Tel.] v. n. To float. To swim. To bathe. To succeed, be done, be settled, ratified, take place. To terminate, end, blow over or end (as a storm,) swell, ripen (as a boil,) to emerge, పొడచూపు To fall clear of, so as not to hit. To clear up, become known, or ascertained, be decided, as a question or doubt. To be found, come to light, result, come to pass, to be evident or revealed. To go off or depart, as sleep, sickness, &c. To escape or get off. నేను తేలే ఉపాయము ఇది this is the plan to save myself. ఏ సముద్రమందు పడవేసినా ఇది తేలును in whatever sea you place this boat it will float, i.e., this must prosper whatever may happen. తేలబలుకు (A. iv. 306.) to speak clearly. తేలిన swelling ఉబికిన; large. తేల్చి పలుకు to accent softly, to use the soft accent instead of the harsh one; as పోతన Pōtana for పోతన్న Pōtanna, and ఇపుడు ipuḍu for ఇప్పుడు ippuḍu. తేలదీయు to haul ashore, to pull out or drag out. తేలగిల్లు or తేలగిలబడు tēla-gillu. v. n. To rise to the top. పైకితేలు. To roll or swim, as the eyes. తేలగింపు swimming of the eyes. తేలవేయు tēla-vēyu. v. a. To open (the eyes) wide. కండ్లుతేలవేయు to stop winking తేలచేప tēla-chēpa. n.
