To keep a feast. విజయదశమి ఉండినారు they kept the Vijaya Dasami feast. ఉన్న మాట యిది this is the fact. ఉన్నరూపు the true form, the reality. నేను అక్కడ పది దినములుంటిని I remained there ten days, వాడు (ఇంట్లో) ఉన్నాడా is he at home? మీ తండ్రి బాగా ఉన్నాడా is your father well? ఉన్నట్టుండి suddenly, just as they were. ఉన్నారు they are; రేపుదాక ఉంటారా will they remain till to-morrow? అక్కడ ఉన్నారా are they there?

Much, exceedingly, excessively, greatly; already, ముందు మించి, మిక్కిలి, అత్యంతము. అతడు మిగులు వెళ్లిపోయినాడు he is already gone. it is too late, he is gone. మిగులమాటలు ఆడకు do not use improper language, i. e. do not be rude మిగిలించు. మిగులుచు or మిగుల్చు migi-linṭsu. v. a. To cause to remain over, మిగులజేయు. To save or lay up. కూడబెట్టు. మిగులుచుకొను or మిగుల్చుకొను miguluṭsu-konu. v. a. To save or lay up. మిగతి migata. n. That which remains over. 'వాపిచెడనతసుకాంతితో UR. iv. 297. వానిఒళ్లు వాసిచేసిరి they cured him. ముఖవాసి fascination, personal influence. వానికి చెయివాసికద్దు he has a lucky hand, he is fortunate in his practice. మాటవాసికిచెప్పినాను I said it without any particular reason. Extent, limit పరిమితి. This is affixed to words denoting fractions thus, అరవాసి one half. కాలువాసి one quarter. Advantage gained in measurement, &c., surplus. ధారణవాసి advantage gained by price. 'ధారణవాసికైరొదల్ బెట్టుచు.' A. vi. 93. టీ వాసి, మార్పుయెక్కువ తక్కువలకొరకు. 'మాయక్కకన్న రాధికయేయెక్కువయైన చానయెరిగింపుమదే యీమమనాయమనెన్నగ ప్రాయమ్మున రాజుబంటువాసిదలంపన్.' Ila. iii. 179. టీ రాజు బంటువాసి, అనగా దొరుకును సేవకునకును ఉండే తారతమ్యము వాసి vāsi. adj. Greater,గొప్ప. Better, either in health or in quality. స్వస్థము, బాగు. అది యిప్పుడు నిండావాసి it is much better now. రోగము వాసియైనది the disease is cured. వారికంటెవీరు వాసి these are better than the other men. వాసికెక్కు vāsi-ekku. v. n. To rise to celebrity, become great, obtain eminence, attain superiority, ప్రసిద్ధినిపొందు 'లోకమువారు మెచ్చగా వన్నెకువాసికెక్కి.' T. ii. 38. 'నీ యుపకారము ముజ్జగంబులన్ వాసికి నెక్కి.' Anirudh. iii. 59. వాసీగా vāsi-gā. adv. Well, properly, fully. చక్కగా. 'కాశీమహిమము మీచేవాసిగవిని సంశయముల నాసితిమిక నీదాసులము.' P. iv. 262. వాసిచేయు vāsi-chēyu. v. a. To ameliorate, cure, make better. స్వస్థముచేయు. వాసితనము vāsi-tanamu. n. Propriety, fitness, యుక్తము. 'సత్యభామా విధేయువలన మరలగొనుటపో వాసితనము.' Parij. iv. 16.

(p. 1210) venu Same as వెన్ను. (q. v.) వెనుక, వెనక or వెన్క venuka. [Tel. from వెను.] n. The back part or side, the rear, పశ్చాద్బాగము. The front, ముందు. The west, పడమర. Indifference, ఉపేక్ష. adj. Behind or before (in place, order or time.) పశ్చాద్భాగముననున్న, ముందరనున్న. adv. and affix. Behind, after (in time or place.) Formerly, పశ్చాద్భాగమందు, తదనంతరము, లోగడ. Afterwards, పిమ్మట. దీనిని నావెనుక నాకొడుకులు అనుభవింపవలసినది after me this is to be enjoyed by my sons. ముందు వెనుకలు విచారించి మాట్లాడు Speak with much caution; lit: looking forwards and backwards. వెనుక ముందుతోచకుండా not knowing which way to turn. వెనుకసారి on the latter occasion. ఆ వెనుక (wrongly pronounced ఆనక) thereafter. వెనుకకు, వెనకకు, వెన్కకు or వెనక్కు venuka-ku. adv. To hang behind, to lag, fall back. వెనుకపడు. వెనుకచూపులమెకము venuka-tsūpula-mekamu. n. A bear. ఎలుగుబంటి. వెనుకటి or వెనకటి venukaṭi. adj. Former, previous. A younger brother, తమ్ముడు. The former man. The latter man, ముందరివాడు, ఇటీవలివాడు. వెనుకటివారు those who precede: also, those who come after. వెనుకదీయు venuka-dīyu. v. n. To retreat, draw off, fall back, hesitate. వెనుకకు మరలు, సంకోచించు. వెనుకద్రొక్కు venuka-drokku. v. n. To fall back, retreat. వెనుదీయు. వెనుకపడు venuka-paḍu. v. n. To turn back, retreat, వెనుకకుమరలు. 'వెయ్యారుచందముల వెనుదీయక కాలువలునరులు త్రిప్పినదిరుగున్.' Vema. 450. వెనుబడు or వెన్బడు venu-baḍu. v. n. To be grieved, to be sorrowful, విషాదించు, ఖేదపడు. వెనుబాటు or వెన్బాటు venu-bāṭu. n. The act of grieving, the state of being sorrowful, grief, sorrow. వెనుబడుట, విషాదము, ఖేదము. వెనువెంట venu-venta. adv. Along with. మిక్కిలి వెంబడి.
