Fascination, deluding. కన్నుకట్టుట to delude, or blind the eyes. కన్నుకట్టువిద్య magic,legerdemain. The art of being invisible. కన్నుగవ or కన్నుదోయి A pair of eyes. కన్నునీరు or కన్నీరు tears. కన్నుబ్రాము (R. 1. 107.) (p. 369) gīcu gīṭṣu. [Tel.] v. a. To scrape, scratch, erase: to draw a line. గీతగీచు; to tear lacerate; to lance a palm tree, or tap it for juice. To shave. కంచుగీచినట్టుగా పలికె she spoke shrilly.

(p. 370) gīru gīru. [Tel.] v. a. To tear, scratch, scrape, comb or smooth the hair with the fingers. 'వానినగించి నవ్వుచున్ కూరిమిమీరగీరు, కొనగోట చిటుక్కున నోవక్కుసాక్కగన్.' T. ii. 95. గీరుడు gīruḍu. n. Scratching. గోకుడు. గీరుకొను gīru-konu. Same as గీరు.
