(p. 259) kaluṣamu kalushamu. [Skt.] n. Sin foulness, impurity. పాపము. adj. Foul, Sinful. Turbid, muddy. కలకబారిన. కలుషించు kalushinṭsu. v. n. To be angry or intemperate, to be agitated కలకబారు.

(p. 274) kārakamu kārakamu. [Skt.] adj. Making, causing. సందేహకారకమైన causing doubt or doubtful. సంతాపకారకమైన grievous. దుఃఖకారకమైన grievous, causing sorrow. కారకహేతువు the efficient or active cause. In Telugu it is used to denote heat. కారకజ్వరము a burning fever. కారకదేహము a hot or fervish temperament. మేహకారకము venereal feverishness. పిత్తకారకము bilious feverishness. కారకములు నాలుగువిధములు stimulants are of four sorts.

One who is temperate, patient, self-controlled, moderate, or master of himself. అడపబడినవాడు, తపఃక్లేశమునోర్చువాడు. దాంతి dānti. n. Self command, repression of the passions. ఇంద్రియనిగ్రహము. బ్రహ్మదర్యాది తపఃక్లేశమునోర్చుతనము.

(p. 601) duḍuku duḍuku. [Tel.] n. Rashness, folly, wickedness, silliness, hastiness. దౌష్ట్యము, ఉద్ధతి. adj. Rash, intemperate, foolish, wicked. దుష్టము, ఉద్ధతము. దుడుకుమాటలు thoughtless talk, wild language. అది కొంచెము దుడుకుగానున్నది she is rather rash or headstrong . చెయిదుడుకు pilfering. నోరు దుడుకు foolish talk. దుడుకడు duḍukaḍu. n. A forward, hasty, mischievous or wicked man, దుష్టుడు.

(p. 799) paityamu or పైత్తము paityamu. [Skt. from పిత్తము.] n. Bile, billiousness, melancholy, madness, delirium, imbecility. పైత్యచలనము excess of bile, పైత్యాధిక్యము. పైత్యప్రకృతి paitya-prakṛiti. n. A bilious temperament. పిత్తజ్వరము or పైత్యజ్వరము bilious fever. పిత్తాధిక్యము or పోత్తోద్రేకము accumulation of bile, congestion of the liver. పైత్యగాడు pailya-gāḍu. n. A fool, a blockhead, a lunatic, or madman.

(p. 824) prakṛti pra-kriti. [Skt.] n. Nature, the goddess of nature. The world, the universe. The original or natural condition of a thing. The elementary or root form of a word. Constitution, temperament, disposition. స్వభావము, సహజము, భూపత్తాయామిత్యాదిధాతువు, పంచభూతములలో నొకటి. పైత్యప్రకృతి a bilious temperament. శ్లేష్మప్రకృతి a saturnine disposition. వాతప్రకృతి an airy or rheumatic humour. జడప్రకృతి (R. vi. 14.) a dull state, stupefaction.

(p. 985) mitamu mitamu. [Skt.] adj. Moderate, temperate. Few. మితజనముతో with a few followers. మితభాషి one who is moderate in language, not talkative. మితజ్ఞులు the ignorant. n. A bound, measure, limit, term; moderation, limitation. మితములేని or అమితమైన countless, endless, immoderate. మితి miti. n. End, limit. పరిమాణము, హద్దు, కొలది, గడువు, మితిలేని unlimited, endless, huge, vast. 'అన్నకామునితోడ ఆడినమితులు.' Pal. 120. ఆడినమితులు the terms proposed.
