(p. 90) allāḍu or అల్లలాడు allāḍu. [Tel. అల్ల+ఆడు] v. n. To shake, move, wave, toss about, to wander about, to be in distress. ఆడు, గాలికి కొట్టుకొను, తిరుగు, సంచరించు, కడగండ్లబడు. 'ధరాచక్రమల్లాడె.' N. iv. 288. ధ్వజపటము గాలికి అల్లాడుచున్నది the flag flutters in the wind. కూటి అల్లాడుతాడు he is in want of bread. కొలువుకు అల్లాడుతాడు he is in trouble for want of employment. అల్లాటము allāṭamu [Tel.] n. A sort of ear ornament worn by women. ఒక విధమైన చెవికమ్మ. adj. Coarse, not fine. False, అసత్యము. దుద్దుపెట్టు to evade, elude. దుద్దెక్కు duddekku. v. n. To excel. అతిశయించు. Darling, pet, sweet, charming, lovely, dear. నాముద్దుసుతుడు my beloved son, my darling boy. ముద్దు పేరు a pet name. ముద్టుటుంగరము or ముదుటుంగరము a pet ring, worn on the little finger, a signet ring. ముద్దుమాటలు sweet words. ముద్దుమొగము a sweet face. ముద్దుగా muddu-gā. adv. Charmingly, tastily. అందముగా. ముద్దులగుమ్మ muddula-gumma. n. A beauty, a charming woman. ముద్దులాడి or ముద్దురాలు muddulāḍi. n. A charming woman, ముద్దులుగులికే స్త్రీ, మనోజ్ఞురాలు. ముద్దులాడు muddulāḍu. n. A charming or pleasant man, మనోజ్ఞుడు.
