ఉప్పిడి

(p. 165) uppiḍi uppiḍi. [Tel. from ఉప్పు+ఇడి] adj. Saltless, unsalted. ఉప్పు లేని. ఉప్పిడిచప్పిడి మాటలు nonsense. ఉప్పిడి చప్పిడి good or bad. ఉప్పిడి చప్పిడి లేని కూడు dry bread: lit. a mess without any flavour.

(p. 1007) muppiḍi mup-piḍi. [Tel. మూడు + పిడి.] n. A dagger. బాకు. 'పైడిదుప్పటియును మొలముప్పిడియును మణిమేఖలయుబొడ్డుమానికంబు.' KP. ii. 143.
