Interest on money. ధనమునకు వచ్చువృద్ధి. ధర్మవడ్డి legal interest. వడ్డికివడ్డి compound interest. వడ్డికిఇచ్చు to lend on interest. వడ్డిబ్రతుకు vaḍḍi-bratuku. n. Living by lending money at interest. వడ్డిభోగ్యము raḍḍi-bhōgyamu. n. Usufruct of a field, given in lieu of interest on money borrowed. అప్పు ఇచ్చినరూకల వడ్డికిచెల్లుగా అనుభవించడము.

(p. 1126) vaḍḍiñcu vaḍḍinṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To help at meals, to serve up a meal. అన్నమిడు. వాడన్నమాటలను నీకునీవే యేల వడ్డించుకొంటున్నావు why do you take his words to yourself? 'అనుకయపకపకనగి యవ్వనజుడను నీకునీవె వడ్డించుకొనన్ జనునే.' Ahal. ii. 46. 'అతివవడ్డింపదివ్యాన్నమారగించి.' Ila. ii. 11. వడ్డన or వడ్డెన vaḍḍana. n. (p. 1126) vaḍlu vaḍḍlu. [from Skt. వృహి. and plu. of వరి.] n. Paddy, rice in the husk, rice grain. వరిధాన్యము. శాలిధాన్యము. పిషాణపువడ్లు a fine sort of paddy. వడ్లచిలుక vaḍla-chiluka. n. A kind of insect that infests rice.
