(p. 161) upadaṃśamu upa-damṣamu. [Skt.] n. A relish, a pickle or condiment. ఊరుగాయ. A painful venereal disease. కొరుకు రోగము.

(p. 274) kārakamu kārakamu. [Skt.] adj. Making, causing. సందేహకారకమైన causing doubt or doubtful. సంతాపకారకమైన grievous. దుఃఖకారకమైన grievous, causing sorrow. కారకహేతువు the efficient or active cause. In Telugu it is used to denote heat. కారకజ్వరము a burning fever. కారకదేహము a hot or fervish temperament. మేహకారకము venereal feverishness. పిత్తకారకము bilious feverishness. కారకములు నాలుగువిధములు stimulants are of four sorts.

(p. 763) puṇḍu punḍu. [Tel.] n. A boil, an ulcer, a sore. A blister. The reddish cake in the middle of a white-ant-hill. నాగొంతు పుండుగానున్నది I have a sore throat. రాచపుండు a carbuncle. పక్కలోపుండు పెంచెదవేమి why do you nourish a thorn in your side? Infl. పుంటి (S. iii. 370.) abl. పుంట. plu. పుండ్లు. పుండుచేయు punḍu-chēyu. v. n. To raise a blister, or make a sore. పుండ్ల రోగము venereal disease.

(p. 1032) mēhamu mehamu. [Skt.] n. A urinary disease, especially, an inflammatory affection of the urethra, gonorrhœa. A venereal disease, gleet. Cachexise. స్త్రీసంభోగాధిక్యముచేత కలిగే రోగము. మేహగ్రంథి mēka-granthi. n. Venereal herpes. మేహరోగము mēha-rōgamu. n. A venereal disease. మేహవాయువు mēha-vāyuvu. n. A venereal affection. A complaint wherein the limbs are stiff and contracted.

(p. 1269) saṅkaṭamu sankaṭamu. [Skt.] n. A difficulty, trouble, affliction, danger, calamity. ఇరుకు, బాధ, ఇక్కట్టు. Disease, illness, రోగము. ప్రాణసంకటము mortal peril. సుఖసంకటము a venereal disease. adj. Difficult, unsafe, narrow, కఠినమైన, ఇరుకైన. సంకటపడు sankaṭa-puḍu. v. n. To be in trouble, to be distressed, శ్రమపడు. అన్నవస్త్రములకులేక సంకటపడుచున్నారు they are in trouble for want of food and clothing. సంకటపాటు snakaṭa-pāṭu. n. The state of being in trouble, సంకటపడుట. సంకటపట్టు sankaṭa-peṭṭu. v. a. To give trouble to, to annoy, harass, బాధపెట్టు, హింసపెట్టు.
