(p. 176) ūraka or ఊరికె ūraka. [Tel.] adv. Without. For nothing. Silently, merely, idly, in vain. Without cause, of itself, spontaneously, voluntarily, causelessly. Without employment; unoccupied, empty, vacant. ఇల్లు ఊరికె ఉన్నది the house is vacant. ఊరికె పోనిచ్చు to let a thing go free. ఊరికెవచ్చు without any special purpose. ఊరకుండు to submit, to still; to be passive or silent. చ ... 'ఒప్పుత, ప్పరయురసజ్ఞు లూహదెలియంగల లేఖ కపాఠకోత్తముల్, దొరికినగాక యూరకకృతుల్ రచియించుమటన్న శక్యమే.' (అల్లసాని పెద్దన్న) i.e., how can a poet compose verse without these conveniences?

(p. 506) tana tana. [Tel.] adj. Own, his her, my. See తాను of which this is the genitive. తన చేతననైనంతదూరి he reviled them to the utmost in his power. తనబుద్ధి his opinion, one's own opinion. తనకుతానె adv. He of himself, of his own accord, voluntarily. తనడు tana-du. adj. Own. His, her. See తన.

(p. 522) tānu tānu. [Tel.] pron. (reflexive.) Self, one, oneself. (G. తన. D. తనకు. Acc. తన్ను. plu. తాము, తమరు. G. తమ.) తనకుతానె voluntarily, of itself, of his own accord. తమకుతామే they of themselves. తాను చెడ్డకోతి వనమెల్లచెరిచినది one good-for-nothing monkey ruins the whole garden. తననే చూచినారు తననే చూచినారు (B. viii. 421.) they beheld him himself. తన్ను కాదనియెంచును (Vēma) he will not see that he is the person in question. తన్నుంచిరానట్టితప్పుకలదె. (Ila. iii. 56.) is there any error that does not spring from one's own folly?

(p. 681) nērucu or నేర్చు nēruṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To learn. Added to other infinitives it is translated by the English verb Can. రానేరను I cannot come. తెలియనేరరైరి they were unable to know. చూడనేర్తునే can I bear to see it? నేర్చినేర్చి మాట్లాడుతాడు he is talkative or chatters. నేరక nēraka. adj. Being unable to. రాజరక being unable to come. adv. Unawares, unconsciously, involuntarily. నేర్చినేరక చేసినపని an act committed unconsciously or ignorantly. నేరకచేసినాను I did it unintentionally or unconsciously. నేరరు they cannot do it.
