Fiction fraud, మాయ; archness, a prank, a wrench, or a twist. చమత్కారము, నేర్పు. 6. Finesse, innuendo, aquibble, చలోక్తి; refinement, prettiness. 7. A token, or mark, trace, track. ౛ాడ, సంకేతస్థలము, ఏకాంతము. వానకందచువ the rainy season. ఇరుకందువ on both sides. 'మునుతాసుచనిన కందువ. వెదకుచు కావలలోపలికి.' Sar. D. vii. 211. Peculiar, odd, queer, Pretty, curious, Cunning, false, fictitious. కందువమాటలు a quibble: a play upon words. కందువ పద్మము a fairy lily, not a real one. కందువ రాజులు mere pretenders: mock warriors.

(p. 242) kannamu kannamu. [Tel.] n. A hole made by burglars through a wall. నేలకన్నము a way dug under a wall by thieves. BD. v. 701. కన్నపుకత్తి kannapu-katti. n. A housebreaker's wrench. A sharpened bar of iron to bore a hole through a wall. కన్నపుముట్టు or కన్నకోల kannapu-muṭṭu. A crowbar used in digging such a hole; called in thieves' slang, a jemmy, betty, or a rook. కన్నముపెట్టు or కన్నమువేయు kannamu-peṭṭu. v. n. To commit burglary, to dig through a wall.

(p. 672) nulumu , నుల్ము, నులుమాడు or నుల్మాడు nulumu. [Tel.] v. a. To roll (cotton between the hands.) To pull (by the ears.) To twist or curl (the whiskers). To twist or pull (a bullock's tail in urging it on.) వాని మెడ నులిమిరి they wrenched or broke his neck. To dig up, to root up. పెల్లగించు.

(p. 961) malu malu. [Tel. a form of మరు from మరుస.] adj. The second. మలుకారు malu-kāru. n. The second crop produced within the year, the light crop. రెండో మారుపెట్టినపంట. Also, winter, శీతకాలము. మలుచూలు first child. మలుపక్కము the second fortnight, కృష్ణపక్షము. మలుసం౛ malu-sandza. n. The evening time, eventide. సాయంసంధ్య. మలుచుట్టు malu-tsuṭṭu. n.
