(p. 196) ēṭrinta ēṭrinta. [Tel.] adv. The bird called a king-crow: a drongo, Dicrurus ater (F.B.I.) పసులపోలిగాడు, భారద్వాజము, కాటుకపిట్ట 'ఏనుగకు ఏట్టింతరాయభారము' కాటుకపిట్ట 'ఏనుగుకు ఏట్టింతరాయభారము' (Prov.) much aid can the king-crow give to the elephant!

(p. 730) pasi pasi. [from Skt. పశువు.] n. Cattle. పశుసమూహము, గోగణము. The smell of cattle, పశ్వాదులమీదిగాలి, వాసన. పసిపట్టు pasi-paṭṭu. (p. 918) bharadvājamu bharadvājamu [Skt.] n. The King-crow or Drongo-shrike, Dicrurus ater (F.B.I.) ఏట్రింతి, వ్యాఘ్రాటపక్షి. Radha KD. (it has been wrongly taken to be the sky lark: it never rises into the sky and is commonly seen on the backs of cattle and hence is called పసులుపోలిగాడు. It will even perch on the tiger and hence is called వ్యాఘ్రాటము.)

The skin of a tiger, used to sit upon at devotions. వ్యాఘ్రాటము vyāghrāṭamu. n. A sky-lark. భరద్వాజము, ఏట్రింత. వ్యాఘ్రి vyāghri. n. A tigress.
