(p. 58) anusandhānamu anu-sandhānamu. [Skt.] n. Reciting, repeating. దేవుని విషయమైన గ్రంథములను చదవడము. అనుసంధించు v. a. To unite. To recite, repeat.

(p. 735) pāṭhamu pāṭhamu. [Skt.] n. A lesson. Study, reading. చదవడము. పాఠశాల pāṭha-ṣāla. n. A school, a college. బడి. See పఠించు. పాఠకుడు pāṭhakuḍu. n. A lecturer. A spiritual preceptor. A reader. A student, ఉపాధ్యాయుడు, విద్యార్థి. పాఠభేదము or పాఠాంతరము pāṭha-bhēdamu. n. A various reading, another reading, a deviation found in other manuscripts.

(p. 742) pārāyaṇamu pārāyaṇamu. [Skt. from పారము.] n. Whole, అంతయును. Going over, reading or doing any thing completely, అంతయు చదవడము. Reading a Puraṇa, or holy book at daily lessons. వేదపారాయణము the recital of the Vedas. అతడు నిత్యము రామాయణ పారాయణము చేయుచున్నాడు he reads the Ramayaṇam daily in regular lessons.

(p. 1230) vailōmyamu vai-lōmyamu. [Skt. from విలోమము.] n. Reversal, reading a magic spell, &c. backwards. విలోమభావము. అనగా కొననుంచి మొదటికి చదవడము మొదలైనది.

(p. 1291) satakaḍamu or సతుకుట satakaḍamu. [Tel. for చదవడము.] n. A scornful expression for the word చదవడము reading. 'సతకడముల్ పురాణములు.' H. ii. 49.
