A sort of ear ornament worn by women. ఒక విధమైన చెవికమ్మ. adj. Coarse, not fine. False, అసత్యము. దుద్దుపెట్టు to evade, elude. దుద్దెక్కు duddekku. v. n. To excel. అతిశయించు. BD. i. 910. ఇట్లు చేయడానకు వానికేమి దుద్దుపట్టినది (అనగా దురద) what could bewitch him to do this? దుద్దుకంబళి or దుద్దుగొంగళి duddu-kambaḷi. n. A sort of woollen cloth.

'సీ పెటులుచప్పుడులాత్మ భీరుస్వయంగ్రాహ పరిరంభసుఖము ఖేచరులకొసగ.' Swa. v. 52. టీ పెటులుచప్పుడులు, అదురువేట్లధ్వనులు. పెటిలించు, పెటలించు or పెట్లించు peṭilinṭsu. v. a. To explode, to burst. పేలినల్దిక్కులను చెదరునట్లుచేయు. 'పేరినలవణంపు ఘట్టములు దృస్యదిరమ్మద దావముల్ దవుల్కొనిపెటిలించు నార్బటులకోయనగా.' A. iv. 122.

The beazle of a ring, ఉంగరము మీదిదిమ్మె. మిద్దెటిల్లు or మిద్దెయిల్లు a terraded house, a house that has a flat roof, or a storeyed house. మూడుమిద్దెలయిల్లు a three storeyed house. మిద్దెటుంగరము a ring with a beazle.

(p. 1120) vakki vakki. [Tel.] adj. Lean, fleshless. బక్కయైన, పలచని, కృశము. వక్కిపక్షి. వక్కికట్టె or వక్కివాడు vakki-pakshi. n. A starveling, బక్ఖవాడు. వక్కు vakku. v. n. To become lean. బక్కచిక్కు, కృశించు. 'మునిగిమునిగిమునిగి ముద్దయై ముద్దయై వనరివనరివనరి వక్కివక్కి, తిరిగితిరిగితిరిగి దిమ్మరైయుండును.' Vema. 816. వక్కు, వక్కుకొంగ or వక్కువులుగు vakku. n.
