(p. 17) ambāḷamu or అంబాళవృక్షము ambālamu. [Tel.] The hog-plum (Spondias mangifera). the fruit resembling the mango. నోరు అంబాళపుపండు చెయ్యి బలుసుముల్లు your mouth is like a sweet plum and your hand is like a thornbush. (Carr).

(p. 356) gannēru or గన్నెరు gannēru. [Tel.] n. The Oleander, Nerium odorum. Ainslie. ii. 23. నీరుగన్నేరు, or Balsam (gul-i-mehndi) and గుత్తిగన్నేరు are species. The pagoda tree, i.e., దేవగన్నేరు or వాడగన్నేరు is a large tree, with a fragrant white flower pale yellow inside. అడవిగన్నేరు the Plumieria Alba (Linn). పచ్చగన్నేరు పుబాళెలు. (A. i. 57.) a particular kind of rice.

(p. 377) gubaguba or గుభగుభ gubaguba. [Tel.] n. Hubbub. గుబగుబలు లేనికూటమి meeting without tumult. అక్కడ ఏమి గుబగుబలు what is the uproar? వారేమో గుబగుబలాడుచున్నారు there is some stir among them. adv. Tumultuously: with indistinct accents. పిల్లకాయలు గుబగుబపరుగెత్తిరి the boys ran along noisily. 'గుబగుబమని పల్కు కోకిలపల్కులు, విని యివి నేర్తువా యనుచు నవ్వు.' T. ii. 97. సముద్రము గుబగుబలాడుచున్నది the sea roars aloud. ఊరంతా గుబగుబలాడు తున్నది all the village is up, in a stir, or in a ferment. గుబాటున gubāṭuna. adv. All at once, in a moment.బాటు౛డివానలు sudden showers. గుబాదెబ gubā-deba. adv. Bang! slapdash. 'గుబాదెబ వీధుల వెంటజంటలై' H. v. 191. వాణ్ని గుబాదెబగుద్దినారు they beat him thoroughly. గుబాలు or గుబేలు gubālu. n. A bang! a loud sound. గుబాలను to bang, to make a noise. గుబాలున or గుభాలున all at once. Bang! crashingly. నీళ్లలో బాలునదుమికినాడు he leapt slapdash into the water. గుబాలుమన్న ధ్వనివింటిని I heard an explosion or a bang. గుబాళించు gubā-ḷ-inṭsu. v. n. To be emitted or burst forth, as scent. 'కమ్మతావిగుబాళించు తమ్మికొలను' a pond perfumed with lilies. Vijaya. i. 162.

(p. 520) tāmbāḷamu tāmbāḷamu. [Tel.] n. A large brass plate. పెద్ద యిత్తడిపళ్లెము.

(p. 728) paḷlemu , పళ్లెరము or పళ్యము paḷḷemu. [Tel.] n. A saucer, like a soup plate, a small metal basin, dish, tray or platter. తాంబాళము, భోజనపాత్రము. అభిషేకపుపళ్లెము a chalice or vessel to bathe an idol with.

(p. 880) bāḷi bāḷi. [Tel.] n. Concern; affection, emotion, passion, love, desire, lust. కాంక్ష, విచారము; ఆశ, ఆసక్తి, మోసము. 'చూడకుండంగగూడదీసుదతిసొబగు చూచినంత నెమదిలోనజొచ్చెబాళి.' T. iii. 75.

(p. 990) mīru mīru. [Tel.] v. n. and a. To exceed, transgress, pass, excel, అతిశయించు, కడచు, అతిక్రమించు. ఇడు మీరిసపడుచు a grown up girl. మీరిన్ excessively, extremely. రూఢిమీర certainly. సొగసుమీర prettily. చ నువుమీర affectionately. బాగుమీరంగ healthfully, cheerfully, i.e., well. బాళి మీరంగ sorrowfully. Vish. iii. 290.

An ape, క్షోతి. A frog, కప్ప. The sun, సూర్యుడు. The moon, చంద్రుడు. Air, వాయువు. A parrot, చిలుక. A snake, పాము. A ray of light, కిరణము. హరిహరి O lord! O lord! హరిహరాదులు all the deities.
