(p. 734) pāṭiñcu pāṭinṭsu. [Tel.] v. n. To exceed, to be excessive. మించు, అతిశయించు. 'కుసుమబాణుబాణంబులు గూడనైదు. కరగి నేరుపువాటించి కరువుగట్టి.' M. IV. ii. 31. నేరుపువాటించి, చాతుర్యముమించి. v. a. To observe, to care for, to regard, to pay attention to, to honour. ఆదరించు, అక్కర పట్టు, గౌరవముచేయు. To consider, to to take into consideration, విచారించు. To expect, hope, ప్రతీక్షించు. To wear or carry, ధరించు. To have, get, పొందు, కలుగు. 'పరధనములమీద నాసబాటింపక.' Vish. iv. 248. 'కవితపాటింపదగిన కర్నాట భూమికిని.' BD. ii. 149. 'తనతోడ నెమ్మిగల వారియెడ దురాగ్రహమువాటింపక.' (p. 811) poralu , పొర్లు, పొరలాడు, పొర్లాడు, పొరలబడు or పొర్లబడు poralu. [Tel.] v. n. To roll over, to roll on the ground; to wallow. To be in excess, to over-flow. To continue, ప్రవర్తిల్లు.' యదూద్వహుండు పుష్పతల్పంబుపై జేరి పొరలుచుండు.' Pal. 233. 'పురహరుడు మున్ను, సాధింపవచ్చిన చందమున నేడు, పొరలినకోపమున పొంగుచున్నాడు.' To wish, long for, like, కోరు, ఇచ్ఛించు.' సుస్థిరభుజశక్తి నైదుపదిసేయరు దత్తినతక్క మట్టి కై, పొరలరధీ శుడీకమలబుద్ధి కళూరిక దక్క.' A. ii. 39. టీ మట్టికై, భూమికై, పొరలరు, అభిలషింపరు. To be crossed or covered, as a cow. ఆవుపొర్లినతర్వాత after the cow was crossed. మాటపొర్లవద్దు do not break your word. ఆ కల్లుకుండ పొర్లిపొర్లి ఉన్నది the toddy pot is overflowing. పొరలు, పొరలిక, పొర్లిక or పొరలాట n. Rolling over or over flowing. పొరలుదండము a bow or salutation made while rolling on the ground. పొరలుపెట్టు Same as పొరలు. పొర్లుకట్ట porlu-kaṭṭa. n. A bank or bund raised to prevent water from overflowing. పొరలించు, పొర్లించు, పొరలుచు or పొరల్చు poralinṭsu. v. a. To roll. To turn over. మాటపొర్లించినాడు he changed his statement or prevaricated.

(p. 874) bahiḥ bahih. [Skt.] n. The outside. బహిని on the outside. బయట. 'బహిని సూత్రతతికి బరగలింగముగట్టి.' Vēma. 940. బహిత్రము bahitramu. n. A kind of boat, యానపాత్రవిశేషము. బహిపడు bahi-paḍu. v. n. To be expelled, to be excommunicated, to be outcast. వెలివేయబడు. 'బహిపడ్డద్విజున కల్సపుపాచితంబిడి.' A. vi. 91. టీ వెలిబడిన బ్రాహ్మణునికి స్వల్పప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేసి. బహిపెట్టు bahi-poṭtu. v. a. To excommunicate, to put out of caste, వెలివేయు. బహిరంగము bahir-angamu. n. An external organ, వెలుపటి అవయవము. Publicity, notoriety, exposure, publication. adj. Made known, made public, బయలుపడిన. బహిరంగముచేయు bahir-angamu chēya. v. a. To make known or public. బహిర్ద్వారము bahir-dvāramu. n. An outer door, or principal gate. తలవాకిలి. బహిర్దేశము or బహిర్భూమి bahir-dēṣamu. n. The skirts (of a village:) used as a necessary in the villages, hence the word denotes a privy. బహిర్భూమికి పోవు bahir-bhūmiki-pōvu. v. n. To go to stool. బహిర్లాపి bahir-lāpi. n. An elliptical question which suggests the answer in other words, ఉత్తరము వేరుమాటలందు అణగి యుండునట్లు అడుగునట్టి విషమ సమస్య. 'సీ రాజుల కెటువంటి రత్నముల్ ప్రియమగు గాయలేచెట్ల వికరులమ్రింగు.' బహిర్వాసము or బైరవాసము bahir-vāsamu. n. A cloak or upper garment. బహిష్కరించు bahish-karinṭsu. v. a. To expel from a caste or sect: to degrade or excommunicate. బహిష్కారము or బహిష్కరణము bahish-kāramu. n. Expulsion, degradation: excommunication from sect or caste. వెలివేయడము. బహిష్కృతుడు bahish-kṛituḍu. adj. Expelled from caste, excommunicated. వెలివేయబడిన (వాడు.)

(p. 880) bāsa bāsa. [from Skt. భాష.] n. A language, భాష. A slang dialect. A word or phrase. An oath; a command or adjuration, ప్రమాణము. A vow, ప్రతిజ్ఞ, వ్రతము. A sign or mark, సంకేతము. భూమికొట్టి బాసచేయు to swear by laying your hand on the earth. 'పాలతోతలయంటిబాసచేసినను' even though they wash their heads in milk and then swear. బాసపత్రిక bāsa-patrika. n. A written promise, a solemn declaration, in writing. బాసపలుకు or బాసచేయు bāsa-paluku. n. To take on oath, to swear. బాసాడు bās-āḍu. v. n. To talk, to converse. మాటాడు.
