A broad caste-mark worn in the forehead, వెడల్పుగా నుండుబొట్టు.

(p. 911) bōde , or బోదియ bōde. [Tel.] n. The trunk of a tree, ప్రకాండము. The bulging part of anything. The pediment or chapter of a pillar, స్తంభముమీద దూలముకిందనుండేది. Also, a runnel or small channel for watering trees. మళ్లకుకట్టేకాలువ. 'పూచిన యొక్క పోకమనుబోదియజేరి.' Swa. ii. 33. 'అరుగులుసున్నంపుటెరమంటి పట్టెలుతీర్చినగోడలుతేజరిల్ల. నిండుసున్న పుపూతనెరచాలుబోదెలు దిద్దినదేవరమిద్దెవర.' H. i. 167. (p. 941) maccu matstsu. [Tel.] n. A model, standard, sample, pattern, specimen. మాదిరి, నమూనా. An upstair-house. A terraced house, మీదకట్టడము లేని మిద్దెయిల్లు. A shelf. A bait, మృగాదులు వలలో తగులుకొనుటకు ఉంచబడే ఆహారము. Love powder, చ్తొక్కుపొడి. Manner, way. 'మేల్మచ్చులుచేరి' going upstairs. UH. iv. 25. మచ్చులగుది a bunch of samples of gold or silver. మచ్చుచల్లు to sprinkle with love powder, i.e., to bewitch. మరలుమందుచల్లు ఆ బియ్యమంతా ఒకటేమచ్చుగానున్నది all the rice is alike. అరోగము అ దేమచ్చుగానున్నది the disease is in the same state. మచ్చుకత్తి matstsu-katti. n. (p. 1031) mēlu mēlu. [Tel.] n. Good, kindness. ఉపకారము. Good fortune, prosperity, favour, happiness, క్షేమము, శుభము. Profit, advantage, లాభము. Righteousness, పుణ్యము, సుకృతము.
