(p. 934) maṇḍamu or మండాము manḍamu. [Skt.] n. Scum, skimming, froth, foam, barm. సర్వరసద్రవ్యసారము, మీగడ, సారము. An ornament, భూషణము. మండకంచము manḍa-kantsamu. n. A platter that has a rim like a soup plate. అంచుకట్టిన కంచము. అనుకంచము a platter that has no rim. మండగంజి manḍa-ganji. n. Gruel strained clear of rice. మెతుకులులేని గణజి. మండహారకుడు manḍa-hārakuḍu. n. distiller. గమళ్లవాడు, కబ్బిలివాడు.

(p. 1022) metuku or మెదుకు metuku. [Tel.] n. A grain of boiled rice, food, a morsel. దానికి మెతుకుదిగదు she cannot eat a bit. మింగడానకు మెతుకులేదు మీసాలకుసంపంగి నూనె, i.e., he has fragrant oil for his whiskers while he has not a morsel to eat. రెండు మెతుకులుతిన్నారు they took a mouthful, they ate a morsel.
