An eater. బువ్వదిండి one who lives on rice. తిండిమెతుకు solid food. పడుచులతిండి a cannibal, a child-eater. కంచిదిండి a corpulent beggar at fairs, an uproarious rioter. తిండికాడు, తిండిపంద, తిండిపోతు or తిండీడు tinḍi-kāḍu. n. (p. 1022) metuku or మెదుకు metuku. [Tel.] n. A grain of boiled rice, food, a morsel. దానికి మెతుకుదిగదు she cannot eat a bit. మింగడానకు మెతుకులేదు మీసాలకుసంపంగి నూనె, i.e., he has fragrant oil for his whiskers while he has not a morsel to eat. రెండు మెతుకులుతిన్నారు they took a mouthful, they ate a morsel.

(p. 1367) sthāli sthāli. [Skt.] n. Any small pot. కుంభము. కుండ. A cooking pot, వంటకుండ. A small drinking vessel, నీళ్లుతాగే చిన్నపాత్ర. స్థాలీ పులాకన్యాయము judging of the whole by a part; for the whole pot is boiled if a spoonful is. కుండెడు అన్నమునకు ఒక మెతుకుని పట్టిచూచుట అను న్యాయము.
