(p. 35) aḍaliñcu aḍalinṭsu. [Tel.] v. a. To frighten, bully. To do, make, perform. అదలించు, గద్దించు, చేయు. 'ఒండురెండుగా వారడలించురేటి నెరవాదితనంబది.' P. iii. 205.

(p. 192) ella ella. [Tel.] adj. All సమస్తము. This adjective is generally used after the noun as అక్కరపడినప్పుడెల్ల whenever requisite, lit. at all times when wanted. దానిని నిజపరచవలసినదెల్ల అతని పని he must prove every word of it. వాడు అడిగినదెల్ల యిదె this was all he asked. రెండుగడియలకెల్లా వస్తాడు he will come in about two hours. అడిగినప్పుడెల్ల whenever (I) asked. ఎల్లప్పుడు ellappuḍu. (ఎల్ల+అప్పుడు) adv. Always, frequently. ఎల్లవాడు every man ప్రతిమనుష్వుడు. ఎల్లరు or ఎల్లవారు ellaru. n. All persons, all men.

(p. 442) camaru or చమురు ṭsamaru. [Tel.] v. n. To give a slap with the palm of the hand. అరచేతకొట్టు. To slay. చంపు. v. a. To rub. రాచు. రెండుగట్టులుం ౛ుమురుకొని rubbing, or in collision with both banks. n. Grease Clarified butter, any oily fluid or greasy liquid. కైపుచమరు milk punch. చమురుపోతు (G. i. 102.) a fat beast.

(p. 426) ceṅgu chengu. [Tel.] v. n. To be loosened (as a knot) వీడిపోవు, తొలగు. To with draw, to retreat వెనుదీయు. To lose or fail in a game ఓడిపోవు. చెంగి ఆడు to talk indifferently. అక్కరపట్టనట్టుగా మాట్లాడు. చెంగిచెంగిపోవు to loiter in walking. కాయచెంగినది (at games with small balls) the ball stopped, or missed. రెండుగుంటలు చెంగినవి there are two holes without balls. చెంగగొట్టు to defeat ఓడించు.

(p. 681) nēyu nēyu. [Tel.] v. a. To weave, as a cloth, అల్లు మంచమునేయు to lace a bed. గడ్డినేయు to lay thatch on a roof. ఇంటికి ఆ గడ్డి నేయించను he thatched his house with that grass. గడ్డినేసిన thatched. నేయించు nēyinṭsu. v. a. To cause to be woven. అతనిచేత రెండుగుడ్డలు నేయించినాను. I made him weave two cloths. నేత nēta. n. Weaving, texture. నేయుట. నేతలు fine long cloth, సన్నబారచావులు. కవిక. iii. నేతకాడు or నేతరి nēta-kāḍu. n. A weaver. నేతపలక nēta-palaka. n. A plank or board every now and then used by a weaver in arranging the wrap and the woof evenly. నేతపురుగు nētapurugu. n. A spider. 'పురహరునకు నేత పురుగులు పూజచేసి స్థిరమైన సుజ్ఙానజీవమాయె.' Vēma. iii. 159.

(p. 809) poddu or ప్రొద్దు poddu. [Tel.] n. The sun. Time, period. బారెడుపొద్దు ఎక్కినప్పుడు when the sun was about two yards high, i.e., about 8 A. M. పొద్దుతిరుగుడు పువ్వు the sun flower or heliotrope. రెండుగడియల పొద్దుఉండగా while two hours of daylight yet remained. శానాపొద్దుపోయినది it is very late. పొద్దున early in the morning. పొద్దుపొడిచెను the sun arose. పొద్దుగూకె (or క్రుంకెను) the sun has set. పొద్దు గూకులు the livelong day, all day long. పొద్దుపుచ్చు to while away time. పొద్దుపోకుండా ఉన్నది the time passes slowly, or it is very dull. పొద్దు సరసముగా గడిపితిమి we passed the time merrily. పొద్దుతిరుగు బాటున at noon. చాలా పొద్దుగలుగలేచినాడు he rose very early. ఒక్క పొద్దు ఉండు to take only one meal a day, to fast for a period. ఇప్పుడు (lit: ఈ+పొద్దు) now. అప్పుడు (ఆ+పొద్దు.) then. ఆపెకు ఇప్పుడు పొద్దులు She is near her time. దేన్ని పొద్దు పోకచేస్తివి surely you did this out of mere idleness!

(p. 1013) muhūrtamu muhūrtamu. [Skt.] n. Time; a division of time; a moment; the thirtieth part of a day and night, an hour of fortyeight minutes. కాలము. అల్పకాలము, పండ్రెండు క్షణముల కాలము, ద్విఘటికా కాలము, రెండుగడియల కాలము.

(p. 1083) reṇṭamu rentamu. [Tel.] n. A fold, as of cloth, folding. మడుపు. రెంటాన renḷdna. adj. Double folded, folded. రెండుగామడిచిన. Thus. మృతిమర్త్యురెంటాననిడ్డ on doubling up the corpse. A. vi. 21. రెంటెము renṭemu. n. A cloth woven with a double thread. ౛మిలిపోగునేత వస్త్రము. 'పులుగు రాయనిచట్టుపలవన్నె నొరవట్టుహొంబట్టుజిలుగు రెంటెంబుతోడ.' A. i. 13. టీ దుప్పటితోడను.
