Undoubted. n. The absence of doubt. నిస్సత్తువ nis-sattuva. n. Weakness, a want of nerve, debility. Poorness of soil. ఆశక్తి. బలహీనత. నిస్తంత్రము nis-tantramu. adj. Easy, deliberate. నిస్తండ్రము nis-tandramu. adj. Unwearied, in-defatigable. నిస్తరించు nis-tarinṭsu. v. a. To cross safely. చక్కగా దాటు. To succeed, get through, be delivered. కడతేరు. విస్తరణము or విస్తారము nis-taraṇamu. n. Crossing. దాటుట. నిస్తారకుడు nis-tāra-kuḍu. n. A deliverer, redeemer. కడతేర్చువాడు. నిస్సరణము nis-saraṇamu. n. (p. 864) baḍi baḍi. [Tel. from పడు to fall.] adj. Slight, petty, 'బడిపనులేమేని పనుపుచు నంబిక డుకొనిపిలువంగ నడువనేర్చితిని.' BD. iv. 1267. బడిపనులు servitude. కొలువుడుపనులు. బడిగుర్రము an unsaddled horse. బడి. adv. Along with, వెంబడి. 'అఖిలజనంబులనుంబడి చేసికొని వెడలియతండు యమ్మోహరంబుదీర్చునెడ.' M. vi. ii. 348. అందరినిన్ని వెంటబెట్టుకొని. Like, as, conformably to, according to. దీని బడిచేయించుము make it like this one. బడికోడి or కోడిబడి boḍi-kōḍi. n. A barn door fowl. A large fowl. బడి baḍi. So many times as much, గుణార్థము. ఇబ్బడి as much again, twice as much. మబ్బడి thrice as much. బడిబడి baḍi-baḍi. adv. Repeatedly, one after another. మాటిమాటికి. 'ప్రమదంబున బంధుజనులు బడిబడిరాగన్.' A snake, సర్పము. A house-breaker, thief. కన్నగాడు. బొక్కబెరడు bokka-beraḍu. n. A kind of snake. సర్పభేదము.

(p. 915) bruṅgu brungu. [Tel.] v. n. To be buried, పూడు. To hide, మరుగు. To sink; to die, perish. మణుగు, చచ్చు. హతమగు.' వెనురొంపిలోపల బ్రుంగిన ధేనువునెత్తుపోలికిన్.' M. IX. i. 172. Concealment, బ్రుంగుడుపడుట. బ్రుంచు brunṭsu. v. a. To cause to sink, to submerge, బ్రుంగజేయు. బ్రుయ్యు bruyyu. v. n. To perish, నశించు.

(p. 1000) muḍi muḍi. [Tel.] n. A knot. గ్రంధి. A knot of hair, వెండ్రుకలముడి. A knot or joint in wood, చెట్టులోనగువానిబుడిపి. The hump of an ox, ఎద్దు మూపురము. A quarrel, కలహము. A form of a letter written like a knot as మామిడి the letter ్మ నాముడి the letter ్న. తాముడి the secondary form of the letter త. i.e., ్త. An union, joining, సంధి. Also, another form of ముడ్డి. (q. v.) వాడు దానిని ముడిపెట్టుకొన్నాడు he tied the nuptial knot to her, he married her. ముళ్లుకత్తిరించేవాడు a pick-pocket. ఆమె తలముడి వీడినది her hair fell loose, the knot being untied. ముడివిప్పు to untie or open a knot. ఆ దారములో ముళ్లుపడ్డవి that string has formed into knots. ముడివక్కలు unbroken (or whole) areca nuts, గుంటపోకచెక్కలు. బొమలుముడిపెట్టు to knit the eye-brows. ఒకవ్యాజ్యమును ముడివేసి విడిచిపెట్టినాడు he cast a bone of dispute between them. 'పడంతిమది ముడిసడలన్.' Bhadra Parin. iii. 297. దాని మనసనేగ్రంధి వీడునప్పటికి. ముడి muḍi. adj. Closed, వికసింపని. Entire, whole, unbroken, ఖండముకాని. ముడిపూలు unblown flowers. 'ముడిపూలపొట్లముల్.' Illa. ii. 163. ముడి౛ొన్నలు the great millet enclosed in its husk. ముడినువ్వులు sesamum seeds which are not cleaned. ముడిపోక an entire areca nut. ముడిబియ్యము rice that is not well cleaned, చేబియ్యము. ముడికట్టు muḍi-kaṭṭu. n. Certain fees on a crop for the benefit of the landlord. A truss of straw, a sheaf. v. a. To tie a knot. To tie a knot in a man's cloth to remind him that you call upon him to be a witness. అందుగురించి పెద్దలు ముడికట్టినారు our anscestors have laid down this rule or held this doctrine. ముడికాడు muḍi-kāḍu. n. One who ties a knot, one who unites, సంధానముచేయువాడు. ముడికాళ్లు muḍi-kāḷḷu. n. Knock-knees. ముడికాళ్లవాడు a man who is knock-kneed. ముట్టికాళ్లవాడు. ముడికాళ్లది a woman who is knock-kneed. ముడికొక్కు muḍi-kokku. n. A weevil. నంగనాచి. ముడికొను, ముడిగొను or ముడిపడు muḍi-konu. v. n. To be tied in a knot. ముడికొన్న or ముడిగొన్న muḍi-konna. adj. Tied, bound. బద్ధమైన. 'ముడిగొన్న సంసారమోహబంధములు వెడదన్ని సుజ్ఞాని వెడలినమాడ్కి.' DRK. 372. ముడికొలుపు muḍi-kolupu. v. a. To cause to be tied in a knot. ముడిగిబ్బ muḍi-gibba. n. An ox, a bull, ఆబోతు. ముడిపంచె or ముడిబట్ట muḍi-panche. n. A plain cotton cloth without any coloured border. నెల్లాగుడ్డ. ముడిపడు or ముడిపడు muḍi-paḍu. v. n. To be tied in a knot, ముడిగలదియగు. To be united, సంధించు. To be entangled, పెనగొను. To be confounded, puzzled. చీకాకుపడు. 'ముడిపడెననియెడదంజిడి, ముడిపడకుడు.' N. vii. 312. 'మొగమున చీకట్లుముడివడ.' HD. ii. 1380. To increase, excel, అతిశయించు. To happen, కలుగు. ముడిపెట్టు or ముడివేయు muḍi-peṭṭu. v. a. To tie a knot. ముడిబొమ్మ muḍi-bomma. n. A kind of fish, Mastacembelus aennalus. ముడియ muḍiya. n. A knot. A bundle of straw or young plants ready to set. కట్ట, మూట. A wager, పందెము. ముడియవిడుపు muḍiya-viḍupu. n. A pick-pocket. ముళ్లువిప్పు దొంగ. ముడివాటు muḍi-vāṭu. n. The act of being tied in a knot, &c., ముడిపడుట.

(p. 1110) loṭṭa loṭṭa. [Tel.] n. A smack or cluck with the tongue. Hollowness of the eyes of cheeks. Low ground, a pit, పల్లము. ఆముదపులొట్ట the dried stem of the castor oil plant. adj. Sunken, hollow. Dried up, wasted away (as an eye), అణగిగుంటగానుండే. మిట్టపండ్లునుపెనులొట్టకన్గవయును.' Jagannad. i. 54. లొట్టకన్నుజిట్ట loṭṭa-kannu-jiṭṭa. n. The bird called Prinia socialis. See జిట్ట. లొట్టపోవు loṭṭa-pōvu. v. n. To be sunken, అణగు. To be injured. వానికన్ను లొట్టపోయినది his eye is injured. చావుతప్పి కన్ను లొట్టపోయినది (proverb) he escaped death but his eye is injured. చ లొట్టవేయు lotṭa-veyu. v. n. To click or smack the tongue against the palate. దేనినైనను తిని నాలుకతో చప్పుడుచేయు. లొటతాటకత్తె loṭa-tāṭa-katte. n. A cunning wench, a deceitful woman మాయలమారి. 'వెడలిపోజూచెదో వేసాలుపన్నిలోకంబులోలేని లొటతాటకత్తె.' HD. 1901.

(p. 1177) viniṣṭrāntamu vi-nishkrāntamu. [Skt. వి+నిష్ట్రాంతు.] adj. Going out, setting out. బయలువెడలిన. 'మరియువిష్ణుపాద వినిష్ట్రాంతయు శశాంకకమండలప్లావయునైన యాకాశగంగ.' Vish. iii. 37.

(p. 1205) vekkasamu vekkasamu. [Tel.] n. Excess, an extreme. మిక్కుటము. Satiety, glut, fullness, gorge, plethore. Nausea, loathing, repugnance, disgust, dislike, చీదర, అసహ్యము, దుస్సహత్వము. వెక్కసములు vekkasamulu. n. plu. Disgusting words. దుస్సహవచనములు. 'చకోరకదంబంబుల వుక్కిళ్లకు వెక్కసంబై ముక్కులకు నెక్కి చిక్కంబడి.' Swa. iii. 37. adj. Excessive, extreme. అధికము. Loathesome, disgusting, దుస్సహము. Hard to get, దుర్లభము. వెక్కసపడు or వెక్కసమందు vekkasa-paḍu. v. a. To abhor, to loathe, చీదరపడు, అసహ్యపడు. 'వెక్కసమందుచుకురుపతి, రక్కసుతో ననియె.' M. VI. iii. 99. వెక్కసపాటు vakkasa-pāṭu. n. The act of being disgusted, loathing. వెక్కసించు or వెక్కసమగు vekka-sinṭsu. v. n. To be glutted, or gorged. To exceed, మిక్కుటమగు. 'కన్నులకు వెక్కసంబైన చెన్నుమిగిలి.' Ellana. ii. 114. To become loathesome, disgusting or unbearable, దుస్సహమగు. వెక్కసములాడు vekkasamu-l-āḍu. v. a. To scold, to abuse, తిట్టు. 'అందరుమీదబడి వెక్కసములాడి ప్రహరించి యిల్లువెడలింప.' Sar.
